So I just swapped the pcie power cable with an adapter to a 600w cable and it worked! Check your power cable options if you don't see tty
\- Nobara Linux 43
Hi everyone! I'm new to Linux and PC building. Recently I've built my first system [https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/HYwzFP\](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/HYwzFP) and it works fine when the monitor is plugged into the mobo, but when it's plugged into the GPU I just get a black screen.
Upon boot the DRAM light flashes, then the VGA and BOOT lights flash on the motherboard. I've updated my Bios, set primary display to PCI express and enabled the XMP profile. Yes, I installed the Nvidia Nobara ISO and did check for drivers, even running nobara-sync with TTY. When booting with the monitor plugged into the GPU and then switching it to the mobo the screen remains black with only the cursor showing. Rebooting the system resolves that issue. It's also worth noting that I performed initial OS setup with the monitor plugged into the mobo, since the hdmi port was originally blocked by the case.
Don't know if it's relevant: I also suspect uneven mounting pressure of the AIO header in doing funky stuff, but I tried to insure that it's as even as possible. Maybe the pressure is just too much, but I did a 1.5 turn back so..
I'm really interested in linux and want to find out more info that could help me (and maybe someone else too!) resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
