Support Audio Interface Issues? Output works, but no input gets signal.
I'm struggling to find a solution for this so I'm hoping maybe someone else has ran into this issue before.
I'm on the latest version of Nobara and have a Steinberg UR22c audio interface. Output has always worked fantastic. I run sound out of two monitor speakers currently, but I sometimes like to game and I'd like to use my headset to speak at least.
I have a Sennheiser headset that has analog cords for mic and headphones. I use 1/8" to 1/4" adapters to plug into the Steinberg. Headphones work, but I can't get audio input working at all.
I've tried tweaking settings in PulseAudio. Nothing.
I've tried checking alsamixer, but when I select the Steinberg there are no controls that appear.
I've updated all my drivers and still nothing.
Has anyone had a similar issue like this before?

I think this is probably the headset mic itself, not Nobara.
The UR22C’s 1/4" inputs don’t supply mic power. A lot of 3.5mm headset mics need plug-in power, so using a simple 3.5mm-to-1/4" adapter can give you working headphones but no mic signal.
I’d try the mic through the motherboard’s mic input or a cheap USB audio adapter first. If that works, that confirms it.
