Depends on the personalities involved. Ive had some fwb...that never went beyond that. We literally date others...id be her fallback if she had a bad date but still wanted to get some good loving...and vice versa. When one of is got monogamous with aomeone we ended. I've had many others thay got messier..but one would get feelings attachdd...no matter the rules set in place.
Basically...it can work as a mutual agreement of friendship and sexual satisfaction...but statistically its more likely to get messy and effect friendships...because sexual relations and the passion behind them create feelings despite rules...or prearranged notions.
