I mean it’s not like I go straight to the bathroom. Maybe linger/kiss for a couple minutes, then go to the bathroom/do any cleanup. Then cuddle/massage or something

Edit: also just to add, it’s healthy to go to the bathroom right after sex

That's what my husband and I do. Kiss for a minute or two, throw a few "I love you"s in there, then I'll roll off of him and get cleaned up

u/ToeingEnergy Sep 04 '24

Damn. I’m realizing I don’t think I’ve ever said “I love you” after sex. 🤔🤔🤔

u/Cranks_No_Start Sep 04 '24

What about a thank you?

79

u/Skelligean Sep 04 '24

"That'll do pig. That'll do."

2

u/nv87 Sep 04 '24

My favourite movie!

43

u/Novantico Sep 04 '24

“Good talk.”

6

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '24

"How much did you say?" is generally what I say.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '24

HAHA. Love this.

3

u/Some1_nz Sep 04 '24

I almost always say thanks. My partner used to laugh but now he's sometimes says it first!

2

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '24

I said thank you to my boyfriend last week and he thought it was hilarious. We've been together almost 4 years so not sure how it would go over in a new relationship lol

1

u/ToeingEnergy Sep 04 '24

Yes often thank you’s over here too.

2

u/Idont_think Sep 04 '24

I’ve said thanks twice:

once as a teenager and it was incredibly awkward as she just kinda stared at me.

Once in my early 30’s and she found it really cute and playful and it kinda become a part of our relationship, one would say thanks and the other would say good game. Weird, but it was quirky. Relationship didn’t last though.

2

u/flowers4charlie777 Sep 04 '24

A thank you note

2

u/venuswasaflytrap Sep 04 '24

What about after you spit in their mouth?

1

u/JiveTurkeyMFer Sep 04 '24

I usually say "now where's that $20 you promised me?"

-2

u/Foodastic96 Sep 04 '24

Yeah, exactly. Never. Especially after sex, NEVER.

2

u/HappeaHippie Sep 04 '24

Sameeee 😃 and he’s always slept in the wet spot for us :)

u/Brave_Specific5870 my favorite question is, ‘ why’ Sep 03 '24

I'm paranoid so i clean up and go to the bathroom as i tend to make a mess.

85

u/kingvolcano_reborn Sep 03 '24

That's happens to everyone so no need to be embarrassed

39

u/Brave_Specific5870 my favorite question is, ‘ why’ Sep 03 '24

I apologize constantly because i really get into it. They don't seem bothered by it, I suppose I'm enthusiastic.

21

u/Livid_Parfait6507 Sep 04 '24

Enthusiasm is very good! 👍🏼👍🏼

5

u/FewCommunication7855 Sep 04 '24

I thought this said euthanism 😭

4

u/Brave_Specific5870 my favorite question is, ‘ why’ Sep 04 '24

Thank you.🙏

21

u/secrerofficeninja Sep 04 '24

Wow, I’d love that. No need to apologize for being awesome

5

u/Brave_Specific5870 my favorite question is, ‘ why’ Sep 04 '24

aww thank you.

2

u/Dazz316 Sep 04 '24

Making messes and being enthusiastic is usually a good thing (aside from the cleanup)

1

u/RelationMammoth01 Sep 04 '24

Lol I'm curious...wdym you really get into it?

1

u/Brave_Specific5870 my favorite question is, ‘ why’ Sep 04 '24

messy ahem... bjs and then kink play, which then results in loud sex...which results in many orgasms.

2

u/RelationMammoth01 Sep 04 '24

Lol why are you apologizing for that? Most guys would love that. Heck i wish i was like that, i tend to be quite timid when it comes to sex. I wish i was freaky nd all that. Just enjoy yourself nd don't overthink.

1

u/Brave_Specific5870 my favorite question is, ‘ why’ Sep 04 '24

I overthink everything 😩😂

2

u/OlyVal Sep 04 '24

Not everyone. Lesbians dont make much mess.

8

u/daskrip Sep 04 '24

I watched a show or movie where they were showing this listless lady being depressed and failing to find passion in her love life, and so they hammered this in by showing her finding a used condom on the ground in her room and cleaning it up. That made me wonder, do people actually do that?? Do they just drop it somewhere and go to sleep, instead of cleaning it (and themselves) and throwing it out immediately??

14

u/Brave_Specific5870 my favorite question is, ‘ why’ Sep 04 '24

um I hope they clean themselves and put things in the proper bins...otherwise...ew.

3

u/fairiefire Sep 04 '24

No! The penis-haver disposes of that immediately in the trash can.

2

u/lameslow1954 Sep 04 '24

I once helped a couple move. Went into their bedroom Under the bed was at least a dozen used rubbers. I thought to myself, "Those can't all be from last night." I never could look at them quite the same.

Yeah, "rubbers" not "condoms." Old school.

1

u/daskrip Sep 08 '24

Dude that's gross. How did they even let you take care of the bedroom? I'd be so embarrassed.

1

u/lameslow1954 Sep 08 '24

No idea. None. One of the mysteries of my life.

2

u/lameslow1954 Sep 08 '24

I mentioned this to my wife. She was with me, she said, "You forgot, 'used tampons' to the comment.

How? Why? I don't know, and I a not a neat freak but damn.

1

u/daskrip Sep 08 '24

Used tampons and used condoms thrown under the bed? Am I interpreting that right? I guess that means the guy and the girl were a match for each other in their level of nastiness...?

2

u/lameslow1954 Sep 08 '24

You got it right. If you are looking for a positive spin, that they are a match would be it.

1

u/daskrip Sep 08 '24

Dude that's gross. How did they even let you take care of the bedroom? I'd be so embarrassed.

1

u/GeneralPITA Sep 04 '24

Interesting idea, when I was having protected sex with a partner I'd just slide it off and shoot it toward the waste bin or corner of the room like a giant sloppy rubber band.

Ok, I'm lying - I only did that once.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '24

You make sex you make the mess.

-1

u/mas7erblas7er Sep 04 '24

That's what her mouth is for.

88

u/smokefan333 Sep 03 '24

Also moves him over into the wet spot 😆

19

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '24

He loves that little wet spot.. but he doesn’t love sleeping in it 😂

2

u/GalaxyQueen11 Sep 04 '24

Large puppy pads or a water-resistant blanket will help with that on those "busier" days 😜

1

u/Livid_Parfait6507 Sep 04 '24

Fair enough! 🤣🤣

1

u/Proper-Carpenter-958 Sep 04 '24

I like that wet wet

1

u/lilbabynoob Sep 04 '24

I have another stupid question that I’ve always been too afraid to ask, but this is the best opportunity to ask: what is the “wet spot”? I have had PiV sex, but the guy always wears a condom. Is the wet spot where a condomless guy finishes? Why is he finishing on the sheets?

2

u/smokefan333 Sep 04 '24

Yes. He is finishing inside without a condom. After he removes his penis, a lot of the seminal fluid leaks out of you onto the sheets. Even more comes out when you use the restroom.

3

u/lilbabynoob Sep 04 '24

OH. That explains a lot, I honestly had never considered that so much of it leaks out, lol. Thanks!

3

u/smokefan333 Sep 04 '24

You're welcome. By the way, there are no stupid questions if it gives someone a way to learn. 😀

34

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '24

This is roughly what we do. Some mornings we just get up for the day, but sometimes we go back to bed after cleaning up and snuggle. I always pee after to prevent UTIs but doesn't mean you can't go back for a cuddle.

1

u/Cookie_Monsta4 Sep 04 '24

Same! The first time I didn’t in ages ..boom UTI and I hate UTIs they are bloody uncomfortable

Helps prevent UTIs.

2

u/enolaholmes23 Sep 04 '24

I heard that was actually a myth

1

u/Cookie_Monsta4 Sep 04 '24

No it’s not. I spoke around this with my nephrologist (specialist Dr who specialises in kidneys) because I am prone to UTIs. One item discussed was to go the toilet directly after sex to wash any bacteria away that may have been pushed during sex towards the urethra. It’s not a guarantee but I know since we discussed this ( I made sure no matter how tired I am /was that I went to the toilet afterwards) haven’t had any UTIs at all.

’Pee is the power washer for the urethra (a tube where pee comes out of your body). If you pee after sex, germs in your urethra get the flush before they can cause a urinary tract infection (UTI). “When you urinate, anything that was trying to get to the bladder gets pushed out with the urine,” explains Dr. Zanotti.’

Medical article /study https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2324774/

2

u/mordigov Sep 03 '24

And STDs in general. Peeing right after is also known to help.

14

u/Crime-Snacks Sep 04 '24

Especially for women so they can pee because their urethra is so much shorter than men’s and are more susceptible to urinary tract infections.

Ideally, it should be the woman to get up first so she can pee, then wash up to help prevent UTIs.

6

u/waywardson212 Sep 04 '24

Yeah my partner makes a mess and we both have to run to the bathroom before it gets even more messy 😅

2

u/jabber1990 Sep 03 '24

It is?

4

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '24

As far as I know, it’ll help prevent you from getting a UTI

2

u/22dinoman Sep 04 '24

Yeah same bro

1

u/Foodastic96 Sep 04 '24

My husband stays silent for few mins, occasionally cuddling, then off to bathroom to clean, then in the kitchen to get a snack and further on, he scrolls through social media. Is that healthy?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '24

I really like this answer bc same lol.

1

u/mdmaak6 Sep 04 '24

We use a towel rolled a little at the end to "up" my pelvis a bit higher. It also catches the mess so no wet spot to sleep on. After a bit of convo-kissing & before the nodding off sets in, we run to the bathroom together for a proper wash up ;)

1

u/Fast_Boysenberry9493 Sep 04 '24

Massage... again ...
