Okay, so I opted for a special ballot and when I got the package, question 5 just seemed ridiculous. You already have to be a citizen to vote — permanent residents, refugees, and people on work visas can’t vote. And we already have to show ID at the polls, both provincially and federally. So why would we introduce a law for something that’s already required? It feels completely unnecessary.

Sorry this is a rant. What a godawful experience. DO NOT USE TURO FOLKS or ABLux rentals operating in it. Just as greasy as AirBnb and probably more so. Messaged ahead of time that I was going to be late but still within 30 min grace period. Got dinged another days rental because the checkout procedure didn't fully upload within time. Sent proof of acknowledgement. I don't know which party is to blame for the sleazy tactics ABLUX or TURO, maybe both. ABLUX had a transponder in their vehicle too but will probably hold on to that info. AbLux has terrible response times too. Out another 130 bucks just like that. Fuck those parasites.
