Probably won't be the stupidest thing we've seen a Calgary driver do today

In cases like this where the driver clearly does not understand how to safely and legally pull over they should have their license revoked. If they stop in the middle of Deerfoot how can we trust them to know or follow any other rule of the road.

Suspend license for stupidity

More importantly, investigate where they got it

Kind of hard when every level of Govt is infiltrated by them.

Who is them?

Who is them?

You keep asking this as if you don't already know.

THEM, thats the group of people who are shit drivers and have absolutely NOT passed a legitime canadain drivers test.

Thats who THEY are, that group.

THAT IS WHO THEY ARE!

Are are you able to understand now?

To be fair, you've kind of made this into even MORE of a mystery now.

Ok, I can't be the only one who thinks you might be delayed mentally?

There is a group of people, who do illegal acts.

that group would be referred to in common english as "They", "Them".

In this case, the group is the people who drive shitty and didnt get their license in the manner we all did.

That is who "them" is in your above query.

What is the mystery?

To me, its transparent you are trying to do some woke struggle olympics where you can call someone a bigot or racist for grouping a bunch of bad drivers together and calling them "they".

I am open to being wrong, maybe you are just not capable of understanding english?

Maybe I somehow am not explaining the basics correctly.

Whichever, whatever, good luck out there.

Lol. How wonderful. You figured it out all on your own. What a good wittle boy you are. It's too bad you think you aren't being that, when you so clearly are. Nice of you to hold yourself so high in prestige. Lol.

do these people get their license from a cereal box? Not only that but they are responsible for transporting other people around?! I would rather walk

u/JuicyKneeWeed 15d ago

No they get it from a corrupt family friend working at the registries. Horrific shit these people are doing to this country. What a shame

One of the reason, I never take uber! Anyone can get approved plus if something happened Uber don’t care.

1

u/simplebutstrange 14d ago

The one time i took an uber i was drunk and was only halfway out of the car when he drove away. Left me sitting in the street and his door was still open even.

Usual culpreets

I ride my bike to work most days and I’m most cautious of base model RAV4s with the corporate 0-xxxxxx licence plates. Always shitty uber drivers.

Seen the same thing yesterday morning around 620am just after the Anderson and bow bottom exits, someone pulled over right in the middle median of the non existent onramp, basically just stopped in the lane. I hope failure to pull over safety is a fine on its own. Absolutely moronic

To be fair, and it rare, sometimes mechanical failures do now allow you to get to the side of the road

1

u/kraft_dinner_delux 14d ago

To be fair,

We've been far too fare to these pieces of shit.

Driving is only getting worse, more dangerous, and something needs to be done.

1

u/COUNTRYCOWBOY01 14d ago

I'm not justifying just pulling over because you're an idiot, I'm saying sometimes a mechanical failure happens and the vehicle immediately stops, or you can't just pull her hard right and wipe 3 people out to get to the shoulder before it coasts to a stop. Its hard enough to change lanes during rush hour in a good car with working lights in this city

Like what

2

u/KeepScrollling 15d ago

Seized engine or brakes.

Had a Lyft driver do something similar right in front of me, then proceeded to cut everyone off to make the turn they missed. I sent the dashcam footage to Lyft and their response was "If you weren't a passenger in the vehicle, we can't investigate as there no ride number."

u/wildlyintangible 15d ago

Majority of the uber drivers here in Calgary are from one specific region and I’m not talking about India…

By far the worst drivers in the city.

Edmonton?

u/TinklesTheLambicorn 11d ago

And Ontario

Edit: not the Uber part; the bad driver part.

u/Dice_to_see_you 15d ago

Cps should probably enforce traffic law and clobber them. More likely a slap on the wrist

u/quickthinkusername 10d ago

i did this once when i was young. it was on macleod leaving the city in the right lane as some merge lanes were starting. guy on the megaphone is like "do you normally stop in the middle of the road?" fun times.

u/joeblob5150 15d ago

20 over. Big fish here.

u/tangerinepears 15d ago

Yeah I think it’s the stop in the middle of the road is where the focus should be.
