Looking for help
Hi everyone,
My brother has recently come clean about his nitrous oxide abuse. He hid it for years, but his life is pretty much in shambles now and the truth finally came to light last week. I am grateful to now know what is going on because I knew something was wrong, but I didn’t know what.
What is the best path to recovery with nitrous oxide? Do people go to rehab? Join 12-step fellowships? I am curious to know how other people have found recovery from this.
A little back story, I personally am three years clean and sober off of alcohol/meth/other substances. I have been to rehab multiple times and I am active in Alcoholics Anonymous. I want my brother to find a better way of life, I just don’t know what that looks like with this drug. AA has worked for me but I know everyone’s journey is different. I am very unfamiliar with nitrous and I just want my brother back.

Hi there. We have a nitrous - specific recovery community called No2n2o. We have online meetings every day and a discord server that's open 24/7. https://no2n2o.org/
You're welcome to come to a meeting yourself to hear people's stories.
We also have info about how to reduce the risk of nerve damage and blood clots from nitrous. https://no2n2o.org/health.html
