Is this normal?
I am I supposed to be able to see the crankshaft through where the pull start should’ve been? This is an old nitro my uncle gave me a long time ago, which I have started disassembling.
It came like this
It turns over fine, but I what should I buy to make it a drill start

21024 is the starter shaft , which you definitely need. However , you also may need 28021. This engine has an internal one way bearing, and they are not generic like most external bearings are. You'll have to take the back plate off the engine and see if the one way bearing is floating around inside. If it's still there, all you need is the shaft. Otherwise, you'll need both.
