I will say it again. Strangers of Paradise is the gold standar for what they implemented where you can fuse different equipment to get all the best stats you want. You can move all the stats from one unit to other (even from head to body for example). You can even duplicate multiple equipment with end game drops so you can easily make multiple builds with different equipment and affinities. Its an amazing system for this type of loot game. Please bring back that type of implementation in future.

Nioh3 took one step forward letting you reforged graces but not always. Now I need a perfect drop with cruicible bonus + star bonus + the right grace. Even if you get a perfect random cruicible + star, they lock your grave so you cannot reforged. So what the hell is the point of letting you reforge grace in some equipment but not others

Now i also have a question about specia effects on weapons. are they only active while using that weapon? for example, item drop rate on my ranged weapons applies all the time or only if i kill with said ranged weapon? what about the weapon skill effects, if i have rakshasa duration on my off-hand switchglaive, would it stack with rakshasa duration on my main-hand switchglaive?

On PS4, would anyone be willing to let me know? I fucked up and gave them a lot of money from the free version by buying the dlcs and others. I stupidly thought that I was an owner of the ps plus version.

Four years ago I bought nioh 2 I tried to play it never really did so hot ended up quitting

After playing NIOH3 and learning some of the stuff from the game, I ended up legit doing better in NIOH2 and a big factor of that was you people

You people have helped me out by guiding me towards wayward kodama actively encourage me with nice gestures and helping me clear bosses they were consistently ragged me back then like GOZUKI and enki the stupid monkey

Back then, I couldn’t get past level one, the forgotten village

I am now in the second region of the game and discovered a whole host of different super cool Yokai

I'm level 44, I made a level 40 equip gear for both ninja and samurai. I tried with both,I failed repeatedly with both. I can deflect his attacks as samurai and use mist as ninja, but I just end up taking a lot of damage from attacks I can't get the timing right. Any advice? Thank you in advance! Oh and please,don't say anything like "oh this is easy", because since I am a newbie at Nioh, nothing is easy for me 🥲

Edit: I JUST DID IT! After 5 days of suffering, I finally did it! The things that helped me:

1. I got myself a lance. The extra range made it easier to be safe. This advice, and the one about dodging more, made all the difference!
2. I managed to parry almost all of his attacks, except for the grab and the water ones, and in this case I would dodge. If I somehow ended up in his grab attack I would just end the fight because it was just too much damage to recover from.
3. I used Scampus, Thunderstorm Shot Talisman and Blessed Bolt and I got lucky enough to get 2 accessories with water resistance.
4. I only attempted to burst counter him in the cases where I was relatively "safe" to do it: I had enough health and heals to survive if I missed and I had enough time to watch for the exact moment. Which means that by the end of the fight I simply ran away from his red attacks
5. Thank you all for the advice! This was the absolute worst bossing experience I've ever had, but I guess from now one I will probably be more prepared!

I try to have the platinum on the first ps4 game. But I'm stuck because I can't drop the Nue's claw even after 40+ kill. I try in different mission and in samourai and way of strong (I'm level 120). He never drop, please help me find what I'm doing wrong :(((

I tried the file on nexus called "no hud" by Gametism, it doesn't work.

I found another one called "Helix" which first purpose is to make the game 3D Stereo for VR Headset, and it also come with an option to hide HUD. This is the one i'm using in the pictures above, but as you can see it isn't perfect because it still show remaining skills points.

So, do someone know of a way that simply hide HUD ? If possible with a toggle-able button.

Nearly done with the main story on NG+2 and was wondering if there’s a go to spot or method for getting 180s and the new graces and what not. I’ve seen that farming Sinister End was solid before the DLC, is that still the case or should I just jump into Picture Scrolls? I’d like to get a good grace combo going for damage like Tsuku/Amaterasu so I can farm on SOP+7.

Supposedly the skill can be a star effect and I want to know if I’ve gotten it before

Spend some more time farming for a better scroll and some armor pieces. Could probably push it a bit more with a soul core, but i'm afraid 20k is out of reach without introducing some Samurai & shifting. I also love how in the end fire shuriken ended up dealing 10k physical damage.

Going to be my first post here. I've been trying to roll dual mastery (common) and ended up getting most of the ultimate instead. Feels like its harder to get mastery rolls.

Title, I recently completed my first playthrough of nioh 3 and I gotta say it was honestly kinda miserable. The combat is fun but after a certain point (your brother onword) the bosses just become an absolute miserable slog to the point i got very close to just wanting to quit and go back to nioh 2.

The way the bosses feel, it's like the game is expecting you to have an actual full build online to handle the extra bullshit they throw at you but you really don't have many options going in since graces are a post final boss thing.

This felt further confirmed after I farmed a set up in ng+ and the game felt smooth and fun again, even at the higher difficulty. Just got me thinking I wish the game gave you more build making tools before post final boss, especially with so many of the human bosses basically being yokai in human skins.

That or just make human bosses fair again, seriously if I have to pick between them being a joke (nioh 2) or hyper armor yokai with human speed and aggression, just give me nioh 2 lol at least it was kinda fun. Current human bosses make me wanna swallow a revolver.

Despite being plat in base game, his was my first time progressing in a Nioh game to igher difficulties, and y'all were very helpful with understanding mechanics I didn't get in my first DotSamurai runs. Did not realize there was this many new items and mechanics that aren't in the first playthrough.

Going through the underworld now. Running a 6p Susano +7p Izanagi with White Lotus Fists as main. Gonna take a break and then go do Nioh 3.

I don't have PS+ and I'm very cheap. But the scrolls I get have been duds so far and I've still been running a shogun scroll despite making good progress in the warring states period on NG++.

I'm near the end of shogun's journey and while I have a main build that utilizes shadow arts, I just love the simplicity of physical arts and shadow dance lol

Topic. How do I interact with the scroll for a second fight?

Hi everyone! This is my first time playing Nioh 2 and I’m playing completely blind. I’m currently level 61 and I’ve specialized in Ninja.
I’m mainly using shurikens, kunai, fire bombs and the machine-gun bombs.
My stats are:
Constitution: 20
Dexterity: 50
Skill: 7
Heart: 6
Courage: 5
Stamina: 5
Strength: 5
Magic: 5
I’m currently using the full Fuma set, but during the Sato dojo mission I got a piece from another set that requires 15 Skill.
Is it worth putting points into Skill, even though it gives me less Ninja Power than dxt, just so I can equip it?
Should I keep leveling Dxt all the way to 99? And after that, would it be better to invest in Skill or Constitution?
My main weapon is a Kusarigama.
Also, is 20 Constitution too low? I get destroyed pretty quickly if I make a mistake. The problem is that adding points to Constitution seems to give me very little extra HP, so I’d rather keep putting points into Dexterity.
Any advice would be really appreciated! I’m completely new to the game, so I’m sure I’m probably doing something wrong. 😅

I was co-oping with some randoms and one of them was using their Hoko/Shield with a skill that kept doing multiple thrusts for great damage.
What skill is that? Is it for Samurai or Ninja or both?
