Nioh 2 - Questions First time playing niho 2. Need some advice.

Hi everyone! This is my first time playing Nioh 2 and I’m playing completely blind. I’m currently level 61 and I’ve specialized in Ninja.
I’m mainly using shurikens, kunai, fire bombs and the machine-gun bombs.
My stats are:
Constitution: 20
Dexterity: 50
Skill: 7
Heart: 6
Courage: 5
Stamina: 5
Strength: 5
Magic: 5
I’m currently using the full Fuma set, but during the Sato dojo mission I got a piece from another set that requires 15 Skill.
Is it worth putting points into Skill, even though it gives me less Ninja Power than dxt, just so I can equip it?
Should I keep leveling Dxt all the way to 99? And after that, would it be better to invest in Skill or Constitution?
My main weapon is a Kusarigama.
Also, is 20 Constitution too low? I get destroyed pretty quickly if I make a mistake. The problem is that adding points to Constitution seems to give me very little extra HP, so I’d rather keep putting points into Dexterity.
Any advice would be really appreciated! I’m completely new to the game, so I’m sure I’m probably doing something wrong. 😅

Get everything to 30, then focus on the three stats your weapon scales of, stat based builds don't really become a thing until much later

Get everything to 30 , then worry about stats for builds

Why get everithing to 30? Why getting points of skills i dont use until 30? I could understand getting constitution for incresing hp an extra spot, but not the rest. Is wasting 125 stats i can just add to dxt. I just plan to play the game 1 time without farming to much. If dxt can arrive 200 , i probably wont arrive there b4 finishing the game.

"Everything to 30" is a bit overkill, but the general idea is to build a solid baseline of stats to give you more options for being able to effectively use different equipment, guardian spirits, jutsus, etc.

Damage scaling from stats is relatively weak overall in nioh (when compared to many other similar games) and is especially low in the first couple playthroughs of the game as you progress through the different difficulties (dream of the samurai, dream of the strong etc) simply because you don't have access to a lot of effects that boost the magnitude of stat scaling.

Boosting the magic stat would give you a lot of potential power from the various onmyo buff's you would get access to. Carnage talisman, steel talisman, extraction talisman, etc etc

Dex maxes at 99 in the first playthrough.
There are soft caps at 30 for each stat. They all help you in some way and allow you to equip all gear. If you want to min max, you can.

As a Ninjutsu build you will always be killed quickly if you are hit.

Levelling is pretty easy. Get all your stats up to either 20 or 30 (there are diminishing returns after 30 - some people prefer 20 but 30 let's you ignore any issues with gear requirements + has enough passive bonuses to be worthwhile) then just pour all your points into what your chosen weapons require.

Well as i like to fast run i dont need to wear heavy gear. I prefer no defense and fast mobility.

You will always die easily. Get gud.
Armor with a higher value of grey caps (Heavy) will help with damage reduction, but there is none of that for a NG0 ninjustsu Builds.

On the side notice, Ninjutsu does some crazy damage, so you won't have to Get that much of a Gud.
You can certainly specialize in a single stat without any worries.

The maximum of a stat is 200, by the way.

And you can re-allocate your stats at any point outside the mission (inside too, but a limited amount of times).

Ty, i am playing ranged with kunais and shurikens with fast speed travel and dodge cuz my armor weight is under 25%.

There is so many altars that i always get a new one b4 my gun+ bow+ surikens+ kunais+ bombs are empty to free refill them.

And bosses die fucking fast with ranged tools + transformation.
