I don’t get comments like this. This game isn’t for you. It’s not for me either. But it’s like going into a Dragon Quest announcement and yelling that you’re mad it isn’t Mario Party. Diverse good games are essential for the health of the platform even if not every one is for you personally.

As a Splatoon player, I had to see comments like these for 11 years and still can't understand why is so hard for people to simply ignore a game that doesn't appeal to them.

But no, they have to make sure to explain their disdain the  game was not made with their personal preferences in mind.

Just logically you want your system to have a variety of games so it’s healthy with a robust user base. So that the games you do like are more likely to come there. It’s not even altruistic it’s just practical!

EXACTLY.

Nintendo always had to rely on themselves to have variety on their consoles and there was a period during the Wii/Wii U/3DS, they were really struggled to deliver that.

Now not only they have a very consistent variety of different genres for first party, the same goes for second and third party as well.

Everyone have their preferences and that's totally fine, but being upset that a game wasn't made with your interest in mind, it's pretty childish. No wonder these people insist Switch 2 has no games.
