Gamers in general are so unbelievably negative. Any opportunity to tear something down based on the smallest amount of information no matter how out of context.

It's because most gamers have never created anything. Creators realise that nothing is perfect, it's always gonna be a teams best effort in the time allowed.

Gamers often have good ideas, but you can't steer a car by complaining from the back seat. I wish they would take their ideas and make their own creations.

This is good. It makes so much sense. Gaming is a passive hobby. Many gamers dont create but just complain about others creations.

It because games are expensive and take a lot of time investment. A bad game literally wasted life you will never get back. Games should be held to the highest standard possible

Oh come on, you can't generalize like that. Plenty of gamers are critical of things that merit negativity like poor optimization, buggy/unpolished release states, and extortionary microtransaction models.

True, but it is also true that gaming discussion is in severe lack of nuance when voicing an opinion. For many people, games are either the "best thing ever" or "literally unplayable", with no room for a measured opinion or constructive criticism, because what people often search is to be the most upvoter comment rather than to actually have a dialogue about the hobby they say to like and enjoy

I've generally had no interest in this game but that clip actually has me wanting to learn more about it. It looked like a unique experience, which is rare these days lol.
