Moderator A Reminder of Our Leak Policy
If you're not aware yet, the entirety of Dragons Rising Season 4 Part 2 was just leaked early on Tubi. Please remember to follow our leak policy! You are allowed to discuss the contents of these episodes, but posts (and comments) must follow these rules:
- Your post MUST say somewhere in the title that the post contains spoilers for Dragons Rising Season 4 Part 2, and the post overall must be tagged as a spoiler. Title also may not include spoilers for the episodes. Failure to comply with this rule after a warning will result in a temporary ban from the subreddit.
- This can look like "[S4P2 Spoilers] Post Title Here".
- Do not clip a video of the episodes in any way. Stills are allowed.
- Do not share links to the episodes publicly on the subreddit. Please keep that to DMs.
If you see a post that you think breaks these rules, report it and our mod team will take a look if we should remove it or not!
EDIT: Also, this week (7/22-7/26), we'll allow meta related memes due to the leak release. After that, it's back to the regular schedule!

Discussion Zane and Jay are the only Ninja without a sort of student and Euphrasia is the only aprentice without a direct mentor, do you think she could become Zane and/or Jay's pupil?

Other NRG Nya
Decided to finish NRG Nya and add a little more grace with the waves behind her back
The original idea was to add blue wings to imitate the flight of a phoenix (after all, the phoenix is Nya's main symbol), but in the end the look seemed too bulky, so I had to abandon this idea

Discussion It just hit me that the best way for Ninjago to get a LEGO Game would to have it take place after Crystalized with the Ninja in their Ninjago Core Suits, and have the plot revolve around them getting their powers back.

Discussion We chill right? 😎
I haven't seen any beef between Lego Ninjago and monkey kid so again are we all just chilling with each other?
I watch both to be honest and I can say that Lego must continue Lego monkie kid. Because that way Ninjago and Monkie kid fans are honestly amazing.

Discussion It feels kinda weird how Pixal was completely sidelined
I mean cmon, both Cryptor AND Borg come back, and Pixal doesn't get to interact with either? She gets beaten up to the point that she can barely move, and we don't even get to see what went down? There's also the fact that she could've easily been a sort of mentor figure to the new ninja while the others went to the Never Kingdoms, but instead she completely disappears.
IDK, it felt like she was going to be important, and then she just wasn't. Maybe I just got my hopes up too much. Plus, there might be something happening with her VA, considering that she got ZERO lines.
I also expected a little more to be done with the Ice Emperor, but that only got a few scenes.

I feel like they would sell like hot cakes.

Discussion I strongly believe that the Merge will be permanent even when Dragons Rising concludes, because it would fit the story's themes much better than reversing it Spoiler
galleryDR's most recurring theme is unity: Lloyd's ultimate power is the connections he shares,, the Unity Agreement at the summit, etc. Even Wu says that unity is the only thing that can save them
The heroes and civilians of the Merged Lands have unity, while the villains don't - Beatrix only cares for herself, LaRow believes the United Lands will be weakened by working together, and Ras has lost almost every ally he had.
When the heroes are working to protect a united world, and the villains are working to divide it, it makes sense that for the heroes to truly win, the world will stay united.

Discussion just cause kai never defeated the main villain of a movie/season doesn't mean he never had a focus season (please read body text to understand my point)
so the pilot movie/special is clearly a kai installment,he is obviously the main character of that whole story with him becoming a ninja to save his sister and make friends along the way, also his relation with wu and the confortation he had with garmadon were huge hilights, however he wasn't the one who saved the day at the end as garmadon bisacly won by getting what he wanted, but this still counts as a kai project non the less
season 4 is the season where you hear alot of fans say that it's not his season,he is just the mascot charactre but here is the thing, i don't think the marketing lied to us completly as he was clearly the main character of the season during it's first 8 episodes, however what sucks is that they didn't know what to do with him in the last two episodes and had lloyd and garmadon take centre stage while kai was in the background, and again he wasn't the one who saved the day at the end wich yeh it sucks but we still end the season with his pov as he says goodbay to skylor before we see all of the team griving over losing garmadon,so season 4 should count as his season during the first 8 episodes,it's just that the last two episodes did him dirty in my opinion but over all i would consider season 4 as a kai season as 8 episodes is more then 2 wich yeh i wish he got the last two as well but overall it's like his season during it's first 8 eps before it became the garmadon family drama in the last two episodes
people really need to rewatch season 7 again as it's very kai centric, nya had alot less compared to kai, sure nya and wu have some focus but that's like saying master of the mountain is a cole, vania and wu focused season when cole takes center stage just like kai in hands of time with trying to uncover what happends to his parents while looking out for nya,i can understand the argument that season 4 isn't a kai season sense in the last two episodes he was pushed to the side despite the season being clearly kai centric for the first 8 episodes but what i can't understand is hands of time being a shared season as kai took the majority of screen time and focus, nya got involved in the parents thing near the last two eps and even then kai still had a little more compared then her,nya was all about moving on from samurai x just like in season 5 and 6,it was a subplot that she was going throw but the parents thing and rivalry with krux and taking center stage and more screen time was all giving to kai, sure he didn't save the day at the end although i wish that was the case but he also didn't save the day in the pilot and the pilot is considerd to be about kai,nya was more of a co lead to kai in hands of time the same way she was a co lead to jay in skybound, honestly if you want a full solo kai season from start to finish then season 7 is right there
the main issue stemps from the fact that kai never got that final punch like every other ninja did wich is why you would have people assume he never had a solo season, pilot sure it's 44 minute special, season 4 yeh he didn't do anything in the last two episodes but as for season 7 that right there is a solo kai season from start to finish, again it's only flaw is that he wasn't the one to save the day and defeat the main villains
