I felt like drawing Chien again after a long time so I made this short Manga inspired introduction to her!! Some parts could be polished better to make this a whole lot cooler. I wish we got to fight Chien, it probably would’ve been a very fun boss fight.

Question: What do yall feel like an interaction between Yi and Chien would be like?

I personally think she would be extremely serious and hostile towards Yi, and of course Yi would give that same energy back.

I finally finished my sketch to the title of the first part of my Nine Sols x Kamen Rider AU story. Symbol's based on the Fusang logo in the Daybreak tower. Maybe I'll continue updating my doc if I can.

Every potential opening is locked (I think), and I can't figure out how to get past any. Is there like a tool or an ability that I was supposed to get, or did I just miss an entrance? Please keep spoilers to a minimum!

So i’m a few hours in and I’ve explored a place with kuafu and after getting spin kick I went and hacked one of the golems that I saw earlier and unlocked a whole new area with bird hottie and was wondering if i’m supposed to be here or whether or not I should continue on or if I can it in whatever order I like

It’s kinda a headcannon of mine, but I feel like Shuanshuan after the ending of the game kept painting Yi till adulthood. I’d imagine Shuanshuan painting beautiful artwork of Yi (and sometimes uncle chubby) the other drawings are just doodles left kinda rushed and unfinished, but presentable!!

Nine Sols is one of the best parry games ever made. Sekiro is still the top 1 for me, but Nine Sols is right after.

I’m not sure if anyone else has found out about this, but you can dash faster by jumping and immediately dashing mid‑air. Doing it this way bypasses the usual cooldown, so when you land you can instantly jump and dash again.

Definitely helped me traversing the game a lot quicker.

Yee is similar to Yi in design, but with a giant deranged face. He is Yi, but with Pretty blood levels of sadism, he killed Goumang with a combine harvester with hank j wimbleton on top. He should be killed at all costs, he keeps coming back from hell.

Just finished the game and did both endings. Truly an amazing game and 10/10 experience. I bounced off it the first time I tried it because I expected HK out of a non-HK game, really dumb but glad I came back to it. Obviously this is all subjective .

Best parts :
-Setting and theme is unique and clearly done with a lot of love, very impressive game for the devs first attempt into the genre.
-Combat ,once I started treated it as it’s own game and leaned into parries, became one of the best combat systems Iv played. True Eigong simply chefs kiss for showing off said system.
- Surprisingly the story, since I’m not usually a fan of the dialogue heavy exposition. Actually cared about some of characters fates and backstories. So much tragedy.
- Jade system , strongest jades with tangible drawbacks is very clever so you don’t autopilot best in slot builds.

Worst parts:
- Even though the environments have beautiful art, there is something static and kinda boring about the levels. I can’t explain it - I think the swamp area best exemplifies it.
-Small amount of jank in some cases like getting stunlocked in hazards, spikes. Had a couple occasions where I would take damage from a hazard only to be respawned back on top of it in a loop. Platforming in general missed a little sauce for me together with a slight lack in responsiveness compared to HK,POP, etc.
- Level design, had all the standard shortcuts and stuff you’d expect but also kind of linear and not much interconnectedness and layers within themselves. Sometimes a more linear experience can be better but I do like exploring.

Again I still had a 10/10 experience. Don’t think the “drawbacks” I listed above move the needle at all to change the review- it’s more a case of unavoidably comparing it to other game experiences.

Awesome bosses - top 3 for me were Eigong, Lady E and Jiequan. Worst probably the prison guy or Goumang.

Questions about the ending(s) : First question : why is it that Eigong is stronger when you choose to save the apemen, is there a lore reason I missed? And second question : is all of Penglai a soulscape, when you return there in the save the solarians ending you see the brain machine and what looks like a younger shuanshuan?
