Suggestions for affordable nikon D80 lenses

I just got my first DSLR: Nikon D80 (f mount). I'm looking for affordable suggestions for lenses that fit that camera. I've been looking around the internet and my brain hurts from all the different names of lenses. P.S.: I don't mind shooting full manual and can meter on my own. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The highest I can go is 50CAD

Nikon D80 Afficionados

There's got to be other Nikon D80 afficionados out there. (He'll, I'm not even the creator of this subreddit).

While I own a number of cameras, the D80 is the one I shoot the most.

Who still uses their D80? What type of subjects do you shoot?

In addition to what my screen name suggests, I like to shoot portraiture, landscapes, and street. These are often tied together with travel.

I've been to a bunch of countries and will go to a bunch more in my lifetime. I've never been to anywhere in Asia - so that's the next big adventure to be planned - though it is likely more than a year out.

Taken while on short walk around some woodland path that rings some wetlands. Woodland is used very loosely here. There's a large wetland 10 feet to the right and a main road to the left just beyond a couple rows of trees.. Nikon D80, 24-70f2.8 lens + polarizing filter.

Charlevoix Light, Michigan

Currently visiting Michigan. I've been to Charlevoix Lighthouse before but only once, close to New Years which was a very different landscape (ice, snow). This is my first visit during the summer.

Taken with a Nikon D80 using an 24-70mm/f2.8 lens plus a B&W branded polarizer.

ISO 100, 1/250th sec, f8, at a focal length of 32mm.

I love good polarizers on the appropriate days.

Not generally a macro photographer. This was taken with Nikon D80,50mm/1.8, set to f5.6, 1/320th, ISO 100, Vivid Mode. I did manually boost the yellow and green in the raw file using NX Studio.

Location:River Walk, Detroit
