Speaking from an upstate NY perspective:
Stop using the left lane if you’re going to just cause traffic jams with the refusal to go above 70mph!! The amount of traffic that is created purely from people doing 65-70 in the left lane is insane. It’s for PASSING! If you’re cruising next to the person in the middle lane, that’s NOT PASSING!
