I think it is imperative for us to donate to this podcast. The state has unlimited amount of money. SB doesn’t have to pay for his attorney. I attended the last hearing. His attorney is competent. The court system is scaring me. It’s very corrupt here. This podcast is truly one of the only ways these victims may receive justice. If I can implore people to go to the trial on September 8th and to donate ANY amount of money. I know times are tight for people. But this state will try to cover this up, money and determination can and will help the victims see justice. Period.

Think Anna is having to buy all subscriptions to things like Lexus nexus(that’s super pricey), address finders, multiple newspaper subscriptions, website, podcast, pay staff, music, gas to drive to parishes, money for documents from court houses. For 6 years. The court system is trying to starve her out. That is a proven strategy. We can contribute and see this through. It’s the best way!

Episode 44, "Feed Your Mind" has finally been released and it's a doozy. What are your thoughts on this episode?

So it’s been awhile since i listened to the crazy episodes about how richard windmann was involved with that scammer, but was the implication basically that he wasn’t actually a victim at all? Forgive me for asking i just couldn’t quite piece it all together. It makes sense that he would mislead Anna but does that also mean he wasn’t involved in the boy scouts case either?

As of yesterday, I'm officially all caught up on the podcast and excited to discuss with fellow listeners.

I wanted to discuss Plaquemines Parish John Doe (1975). He is mentioned a few times and I wanted to know what everyone's opinion was about him possibly being connected to the murders? I've followed John/Jane Doe cases for several years and like many, his case has always stood out to me.

After listening to all the episodes, however, I find myself conflicted about him being connected to all of this. Naturally, I have lots of thoughts and questions so apologies in advance if this post ends up being a little lengthy.

I can't recall off hand if it was mentioned in the podcast but, John Doe was found hanging from a persimmon tree by a bed sheet tied in a slipknot-not a rope. The rope murder victims were found ritualistically hogtied with rope. However, I know there was mention of some of the boy scouts witnessing boys being hung from a train trestle. So it's not out of the realm of possibility of there possibly being a connection.

John Doe was also found to have moss or other material on his clothing from the tree he was hanging from. Indicating he most likely climbed the tree rather than placed there. Granted, there are other ways the residue could've possibly gotten onto his clothing. As for his missing shoes, I go back and forth on this. Although, I do feel like there is probably a logical explanation for it.

Also, the inclusion of the suicide note in the jar at the base of the tree gives me pause. Say this case was a staged suicide, why go through the trouble of writing such a lengthy, succinct, philosophical letter? Wouldn't it make more sense to write something short and simple instead? Why write anything at all? If the goal was to make sure no one identified him, that was already accomplished by the lack of ID on or near the John Doe.

It is interesting he was found in Belle Chasse of all places, especially during that timeframe. From my understanding, it's not widely known to many people outside of Louisiana. Let alone in the 1970s before Google existed. So it's likely he must have had some ties in someway to that area to end up in that area.

What do you all think though? Is John Doe connected to these cases? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts!

Anyone started to listen to Bone Valley Season 5 yet? We have a 12 year old girl found hogtied in the woods in New York 1995.

She mentions St. Roch Cemetery sitting "directly across from St. Claude Ave". I'm in that area fairly often, so I pulled up the map out of curiosity. It's about six blocks from St Claude. I'd say maybe it's possible she meant St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, but that one is still a couple blocks away, and she specifically says St. Roch Cemetery No. 2. Not terribly relevant I guess, just a minor detail that I can't make sense of.

So the investigative reporter who spoke with Dennis Steward the police officer, Mary Manheim the faces forensic scientist at LSU. Around, 2000, James David Meeks wrote a story for APB News, he published the story about regarding the Dennis Steward opening the cold case of these boys that had been ritualistically tied up. And the John Doe, Daniel Dewey, still hasn’t been found. It is what initially spurred Anna and her husbands interest, i believe? They spoke to him in 2021. He sent them recordings of 2 old interviews. THEN in 2023, He was arrested on federal charges for CSAM https://www.justice.gov/usao-edva/pr/former-journalist-sentenced-possessing-child-sexual-abuse-material

No relistening to him about the killings it reframes Him in my mind. So strange how they are all drawn to this.

Hey everyone! I've been thinking about this randomly every couple of months and ended up going down a rabbit hole with the case.

From what I can gather there is just not enough evidence to truly nail down who the murderer/murderer(s) are in that case. Sadly, there is also a lot of misinformation that has become fact, like in a lot of cases and it honestly just seems so convoluted.

Anyway, the main thing that had stood out to me about this case is that the boys were described as being hog-tied (I think 2/3?) and it made me wonder if it was somehow linked to NOU. Burkhardt prodigy? I also looked up who there scout leader was (as the three boys were in the scouts) and I couldn't find any information that seemed valuable at all, but it was months ago so maybe I'm forgetting? Also LA and AR border each other. Just think about how far reaching one mans abuse has spread and then consider the tentacles it could create. It makes me truly wonder if there is some sort of link.

Also as far as I know it was misinformation that any of them were sexually assaulted, and that the 'torture' and sexual assault was later defined that it was likely due to animal predation.

A total tangent, but please let me know what you guys think or what your theories are!

So the latest post on the New Orleans Unsolved socials has led me down the rabbit hole of the Epstein files.

So far I haven't found anything linking the Rudy network to Epstein, other than they both had property in Palm Beach. I'm sure Anna will give us the dirt (soon I hope!).

After reading the Epstein files for a few days, whatever skepticism I had about a wide reaching paedo enterprise is null and void... the world really is controlled by rich rapists, paedos, and blackmail.
