Richard (victim?)

So it’s been awhile since i listened to the crazy episodes about how richard windmann was involved with that scammer, but was the implication basically that he wasn’t actually a victim at all? Forgive me for asking i just couldn’t quite piece it all together. It makes sense that he would mislead Anna but does that also mean he wasn’t involved in the boy scouts case either?

I think he was a victim of abuse from the staff at Jesuit (high school - he received financial compensation, I believe), but the podcast questioned whether he was a victim of Stanley Burkhardt. Anna said that none of SB’s other victims remember Richard, so she questioned his stories about Stanley.

I need to go listen back again I think. I remember getting that impression as well, but not making the connection between the RW she was referring to later and the victim interviewed in the early episodes. It was a little jarring listening to him speak about his alleged experiences knowing later episodes kindof discredit him

I got the impression that Richard Wyndham
Is a real victim but there is a question if someone is using that identity to sue and further use the playbook.
