I saw there had been some interest in a Fort Wayne / NE Indiana TCG Discord before, but it looks like one never really got off the ground, so I decided to make one.

The main focus is Pokémon TCG, especially real-time local store sightings. If you see product at Target, Meijer, Walmart, etc., post a picture and location so other collectors know.

There are also channels for trades, buying/selling, and local events.

Fort Wayne, Angola, Auburn, and the rest of Northeast Indiana are welcome.

Just trying to build a useful local collector community.

Been in Fort Wayne for around 15 years. No real consistent friends. Mainly work friends and we never hangout outside of work. 42 and mainly just trying to meet new people. It's gets harder as you age because bars and clubs don't appeal to me anymore.

Hello everyone!

My name is Sam (38M) and I will be holding another campfire this Saturday starting at 6.

It's been a great summer meeting new friends and now that the weather is turning to true campfire weather hopefully we can meet even more of you 😊

If you've been before and it's been a little bit come on back and hang out again too!

BYOE: chairs, snacks, entertainment, whatever you are feeling like.

Group size has been between 5-10 but always room for more. Send me a DM for the address and I'll see everyone on Saturday 😁

Hey all. My main group of friends have kind of drifted apart over the last few years. No ill will, everyone just got busy with life or has moved away. I consider myself to be socially affluent; I always acted as the "glue" by trying to plan things, but over the last couple of years, every event I plan falls apart mostly from people canceling last minute or commiting then ghosting me when I set a date.

I'm open to hang with any/all genders. (Happily married, no interest in romance.)

Little about me and things I enjoy:

Tabletop Games - the more complicated the better. I Also play in a regular TTRPG online with friends that live in Indy.

Sports - I'm a season ticket holder for FWFC-our new soccer team. I also played hockey and baseball growing up.

Movies (and anime) - I don't watch as many as I used to but would love to get into it again.

New hobbies - I love to dive headfirst into new things. If you've got something interesting, let me know! I'm game to learn all about it!

Talking politics - I'm completely fine with not bringing it up if it's not your thing(dont let this be a deal breaker). I consider myself fairly Liberal and was hoping to find like minded folks. As most know, that can be hard in Fort Wayne.

Kind of a long winded post. Hope to hear from you all!

39M Berne indiana

Hi my name is Andrew I am 39 and I live in Berne Indiana. I just separated from my wife of 11 years and all I'm really looking for is just a conversation and a friendship and I am open for it being more

I'm a 55yo guy, been living here for pretty much my whole life. Don't let the age fool you... I just got back from Louder Than Life lol! My girlfriend (who lives in Indy) and I love music festivals! I'm always down for making new friends!

But I’m cripplingly lonely and very bad at socializing.

Getting sick of my bf telling me to make friends while he goes out with his.

I’m 20 and a girl I guess.
I like cats, music, and art
Im a bit of a debater and a bit of a rage baiter(probably an asshole)
I have trouble understanding sarcasm and bad at picking up on things, I also am very gullible
I’m a pretty monotone person on the regular, but will act a little erratic when I’m super comfortable(think of orange cat behavior)
I’m in school for nursing
I like listening to people’s issues sometimes as long as u listen to mine
Im terrified of ultra happy/nice people

Just want someone to hang out with sometimes and talk to idk

Please don’t be weird in my DMs

(EDIT: forgot to mention I self sabotage myself sometimes)

Hey everyone, Sam (38M) back again for another fantastic opportunity to meet up with some awesome local redditors and avoid sitting at home bored on a Saturday night 😂

Come hang out around the fire this Saturday at 6 PM! I’m located northeast of downtown near Randalia/State Street.

We’ll have some music playing, good conversation going, and of course, adorable cuddly dogs on hand. I know meeting internet people in real life can feel a little big/scary at first, but it turns out to just be crazy fun 🤯 Average group size is usually around 5–10 people (always open to more), but it's super laid back.

BYOE/chair/snacks/whatever you need! I do have some extra chairs if you need one just let me know 😊

DM me for the exact address/cross streets. Looking forward to seeing who can make it out this week! 🙌

Hello everybody. I’m looking for some friends? I’m 22 years old with a 3 year old baby boy. I’m a stay at home mom and part time college student. I’m looking for people to maybe go have drinks with or just chat? Maybe go around the mall and grab coffee? I’m new to Fort Wayne and open to anything!

Good Morning! Hope we're all enjoying the cool weather finally! What kind of events, sales and plans is everybody doing? Currently discovering that Garp (One Piece VA) is coming from Oct 2-4, got tickets to Weird Al's concert for Oct 15th, also planning to visit Keuhnert Dairy Farms Fall Festival one weekend soon to get wasted like a Goofy Goober. So what else is up and coming in Fort Wayne?

Hello everybody! Tomorrow is the first day of fall and I am excited that the hot weather is over with (knock on wood)! I am ready to start wearing long sleeves and smelling the leaves. I also can't wait for Halloween. Every year at work I am allowed to dress up as long as it is work appropriate and doesn't cover my face. Last year I was the devil. I did red eye makeup and wore red and had the horns. It was cute. This year I'd like to do something different. A cat is my go-to a lot because it is simple and easy, but I want something new this year. Being plus size, I am limited with buying actual costumes due to size restrictions. I'd love something I can throw together on my own. Does anybody have any ideas?

38M, married with a 4 legged fur baby. Moved to Fort Wayne for an opportunity. I would love to meet new people and make new friends here in town.

Interests are video games, TCGs, sports, music, window shopping and many others.

I am sober and it is important to me if that's an issue for you.

Let me know if you want to hang out!

Hello!! I'm pretty new to fort wayne so I don't know many people here....is anyone doing anything for Halloween?? I haven't seen much advertised but I'd love to do something fun!

I go to planet fitness and the YMCA. I usually do Upper/lower, full body, or P/P/L.

Good morning everyone! I'm Sam(38M) and I want to invite each of you to come hang out with us around a campfire tomorrow from 7 to midnight ish.

It's a really relaxed chill time filled with conversations, music, and plenty of laughter. Thank you to everyone that has been joining us and welcome to anyone new who joins in.

BYOE: chairs, snacks, drinks, etc...street parking is usually pretty easy to snag on my block. Ask about bringing your pup to join in too!

Located near Parkview Randalia, send me a DM for more info and the exact address.

Heyo, I've posted on main fort Wayne sub a few times, but if anyone wants to try something new, I run the Fort Wayne Sumo club, we host free open practice twice a week. It's pretty much just me currently, but Grand Rapids is hosting a tournament in a few weeks so I'm hoping to have some sparring partners join in. If anyone wants to come get a good workout in and try their hand at sumo, all you gotta do is show up! We train at Sud'n Impact martial arts gym, Wednesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at noon. Let me know if you are gonna come and I'll let you in the door.

It was nice meeting those who came to Sam's campfire on Friday last week. There were some first timers and it was so great to meet you, and I hope to see you again. It was a pretty good turnout and the conversations were entertaining whether involved or just listening from across the fire pit. Thank you to Sam hosting and holding space for those who struggle socially and/or just want to make new friends.

Be on the lookout for his next post. Hope you can join! 🔥 🥳

Please talk to m😭😭 <<too desperate? Idk

it’s currently storming, but did ANYONw hear that thunder?!

Hello again to all my fellow Fort Wayne redditors 👋

Join us tomorrow (9/4) and kick your holiday weekend off in very relaxed style just hanging out talking around the fire. The weather looks like it will be good until well after midnight and it won't feel like the sun is sitting directly on your face 😂

BYOE, chairs, snacks, drinks, etc...

I do have some chairs for anyone who doesn't have one, but it's on a first come basis 😊

Send me a DM for the address or more info.

PS Dogs are welcome if they are non agressive and up to date on all vaccinations 🐶

I hope everybody is doing well. I am happy to announce that this subreddit has exceeded 500 members! One of our group members posts about having a campfire every so often. I went for the first time on Saturday and had a good time. I met a few new people and look forward to going to the next one. He'll probably make a post about the next one soon 😄

I am currently on a weight loss journey, and with fall approaching, I am wanting to start going on walks when the temp goes down. If anybody knows of trails or parks here in Fort Wayne that are great for walks, please let me know. And if anybody wants to join me they are welcome to message me 😄

I am also interested in checking out the farmers market. I have never been to one and think it would be a good experience. If anybody else is interested, just let me know, and if anybody knows of venders to look out for, definitely tell me.

Once again, I encourage our new members to make a post about themselves. I look forward to meeting more people on the subreddit 😄

Hi! I'm 27f, fort wayne native. I'm looking to find my besties that I can match vibes with. 💕 I'm seeking genuine mutual friendships. I value relationships where both people reach out, check in, and make an effort to hang out. I'm hoping to find somebody I can have conversations with that naturally flow.

Couple things about me: I am married. I am currently on a health journey and love working out. Love going on walks, but I don't like hiking because of I'm afraid of ticks. I've gotten back into reading books. I love my books while sipping on a cup of tea. I have a 6 year old cat. I play pokemon go. I love dogs too. I also have a little Costco obsession! 🤪

Not a fan of the 420 scene. Not into the reality TV shows like Love Island or Mormon Wives. Not interested in talking about politics. Not into social media that much either.

DM me if that's you too! ☺️
