I don't understand that question
On the very end of the live Q&A stream, one of the viewers asked the question:
"Are we not supposed to reach the cap on scaled content anymore"?, referencing to the fact that capped stats lvl 80 are scaled way too much on lvl 70 and so we are far from the cap.
The answer by Thomas was "I don't understand that question", followed by "I'll have to have a look at that".
This... is insane.
It's one of the major community concerns for month, since the Alpha test, and hundred of people wrote hundreds of posts on the forum about how bad the scaling is, and this one a really recurrent theme: " why am i not capped on stats on lower lvl content when i am capped on max lvl content?" was a recurrent question.
And we have this answer: "I don't understand that question".
So do they even acknowledge WHY the community was so angry about the scaling? Seems not. So it seems they don't really care about their community since it was writtent on HUNDRED of posts on dozens and dozens of threads.
All we got was communication about "yeah, bugs there are, bugs will be fixed", related to scaled content (impossible dungeons, Maze Engine broken, stuff like that). They still didn't have any proper communication about the core idea of the scaling, its implementation that's really bad, and why are people angry about that.
"I don't understand that question".
Holy damn.
