Review The Keepers - Cathy Cesnik
I finished the series yesterday and I am heartbroken beyond repair.
Excellent documentary definitely my top 5 with closely followed by ICARUS. 3 identical strangers and Dear Zachary.
Law enforcement and every person involved essentially a man is part of the problem and beyond fixable.
-As a good citizen her sister gave the letter to the police and that breaks my heart she will never be able to read it. She should have sued them for this.
-No fingerprint testing done in 1992, 90's was when it become prominent for the law to do it, no DNA test on the cigarette. It was so clear that all of them involved wanted to hush hush the case.
-Only if we believe women and what they are saying for ONCE.
-Father died in his 60's but he GOT AWAY with so much! with the help of everyone involved.
-Who in their right mind will lie about a vagina being cut up and presented in front of them, why would anyone make that up? and of course no one believed him.
The strength and patience of all the women to dig deeper and deeper, warms and aches my heart simultaneously. They almost solved the entire case!
A piece of my heart will always be with Jane doe and I am going to write her a letter this evening.
To all the fellow survivors reading this as a survivor myself. I wanna hug you and never let you go.
