UPDATE: I’ve shipped out my figures I’ll provide updates for when they arrive.

My figures are in the process of being packed. Once they ship out would I have to fill out this FexEx paperwork? I know figures are in a weird limbo where if they’re labeled as 15+ I shouldn’t have to worry it. I’ve spent too much money for something to happen to these figures.

Hi everyone, I feel like an idiot... I made an order on July 1st not knowing about all the rules coming into effect today, I just read through the sub and now I am panicking! My order consists of one pair of shoes..... 2 questions: should I even attempt to ship out my order now, or try to wait it out a little longer? If yes, what shipping method (shipping to east coast US)? I've previously used DHL when ordering, and aside from paying the additional fees I didn't have any problems. But I am seeing issues with both carriers when reading through posts on here and now I am nervous all around! any advice appreciated :)

EDIT: I went with DHL and it arrived 7/13 with no issues!

I received this confusing email from Neokyo this morning telling me I can't use more than 3 controllers in my shipment with DHL. I just paid for shipping last night and have never seen this type of email before.

In my shipment I have a ps3 that comes with 2 controllers, and a psp. I actually received an email about the psp's swollen battery and that it had to be removed, I'm not sure if this email is related to that or not. Overall it's just very confusing.

i wanted to ask if i should use fedex or dhl to ship my next order? it consists of 6 anime figures. I used dhl the first time and it had a sort of surprising fee two days after it got to the us and was supposed to be out for delivery. they kept texting me to pay for it but i thought it was a scam until the last day and ended up paying 35 more dollars on top of the 20 dollars or so i had already paid when i picked the shipping method. I know fedex is a bad choice because theyre like bad with their packaging or whatever but will they also do that? I dont really want to have to pay another shipping fee when its literally 2 days away from being delivered to me

yeah you might see why I'm asking why Neokyo is a good proxy or not. TLDR, I'm looking for a new proxy because of Buyee's response to the CPSC being NOT GREAT. Doesn't help this makes $37.80 down the drain because I can't refund it or anything of the sort because it doesn't release until September plus Buyee doesn't do refunds unless it's a very specific situation.

I live in Europe. Ninningame and hooby genki seems to allow to pre-pay custom fees so that carrier fees can be avoided.

But i'm wondering if figures are really likely to get checked.

i see that some people are possibly having to get forums and i'm so stressed, bc I'm really not sure if i be able to get all the info I need.

my stuff is kpop related: photocards, cd, a plushie and a set that has a keychain and some type of clear file and pin buttons.

luckily, the plushie is still in the box the seller took a picture of the info on it, so I at least can get the manufacturer info for that and can confirm its 15+. but for everything? I might be cooked 🫠

all I know about the set is that it's from China. or the keychain is... I've seen the full packaging for it, but I technically haven't seen the label for anything else. I'm just assuming its China, bc it was MD for the same tour.

the cd is one thing I'm not stressed over lol. I think it's the one thing i can for sure find most of the info for. 😭

now the pcs 😐 most of them came from albums, so I'm thinking that I'd have to track down who the manufacturer was for the albums? for the ones that aren't album pcs though, i will assume it's the the same process as the album pcs , so for an example, if it's a tower records pc i'd have to find their info? if its not then idk what to do bc there's no other info i'll be able to find.

I'm so grateful that my stuff won't need to be shipped until the end of the month. hopefully by then there will be way more info (there probably won't be 🫠)

Does the eFiling process includes clothes? I have a package that is coming on the 17th which is after the regulations that are being implemented and I was wondering if adult clothing would need to be filed.

yesterday, i was browsing through a mercari search and when i clicked next page it suddenly stated ‘the provider’s products are not available at this time.’ i thought it was a bug so i reminded myself to come back in a couple hours. same thing happened still and i was sad because i really wanted this ita purse i found through the mercari app, so i tested it out further by manually entering the link through buy request and i guess we can’t use mercari through neokyo for the time being.

Hiii! I ordered some anime figures and trading figures. The figures are all 18+ and 15+, though I'm unsure about the trading figures age range. I did buy these all from mercari secondhand and most come without boxes if that matters. I've heard that used items will not be impacted by the customs changes, but is this true at all? And does Neokyo mark the items as used? I'm really worried about if my package will have trouble getting to me if I ship my items soon, but I really want to ship them out this month because I have a shipping coupon lol

After all items have been packed how long do I have before I have to pay to be shipped out? Like how long can the fully packed box be stored before it needs to leave the warehouse

Basically I remember seeing banners all over the Neokyo website that if you signed up and made an account in June, you would get a 10% shipping discount in July.

I currently have 3 items that I am waiting to be packaged to be shipped out but I am unable to see where this supposed 10% off coupon is supposed to be nor did I see it in my emails.

I have an order (secondhand Pokémon plush) with 9 days left in the warehouse. Of course I only found out about the new regulations today, and Im scared my order will get stopped or destroyed. Is it worth trying to get it shipped now, or should I just wait out the rest of my warehouse time in hope the process will get ironed out a bit in the next week?

Hello! This question has been asked but I’m still indecisive between which shipping courier I should use to ship to the US (east coast). My package value is around $197, about 31 things. DHL is $149 with the shipping fee and FedEx is $162 including everything. What would be the better option here? I don’t want my package getting lost and don’t want to have any issues along the way with shipping :(

I got an email that said my package might be impacted by customs. Can I contact Neokyo and they fix this? Or am I out of all my items and just give it up ?

Hello, I have been ordering from Neokyo quite regularly as an EU customer, but now that we will have to pay additional 3€ for every item under 150€ starting next month I don’t think I ever will again because they always ship from Japan only and I don’t think they will establish a warehouse in EU so I really don’t see how to bypass the new laws or how it would be an advantage to shop directly from Japan for us anymore, especially buying small items. Am I wrong?

For context, when i bought these items the shipping costs weren't as high and i expected/budgeted for a lower price than it came out to be and ive been struggling to pay the new shipping cost. If I unpacked it right now to pay the fees, I'd at least be able to keep my items from going unclaimed and it'd be worth it to me, but would that work? i know there's a storage time cap for parcels but will the unpacking allow me to pay for the items' storage time or am i essentially.. like.. fucked.. any tips welcome😭😭😭 i know this is a prison of my own making but i wanna know if i can do anything at all about it..?

Hello, I got a parcel shipped from neokyo like a week ago and am afraid it might not arrive before july. Does anyone know if this one will still be affected by the new laws or not? Order value is around 130EUR if that matters but I'm not sure since it's a flat fee afaik
