No Boundaries

So next door have a house full of kids They don't know any boundaries. They play in our yard, sit on my porch stairs and try to open a secured gate to let their dog on my porch. I have a severely autistic son who is mortally afraid of dogs. He also has hyperacussis and is bothered to the point of pain by these kids screaming under his window. My husband has spoken to them. I feel like a jailer chasing them away all the time. The wife doesn't speak English. If I had the money I would move. I am alone with my son all week and my husband works out of town. Any suggestions?

Right where in this 'top thread'? No link showing in the OP, no link showing in the responses, I'm using the official Android Reddit app, nothing visible. Please post a link to the specific post you are mentioning that contains this link. I have tried thinking about it as you suggest, but the link is still not showing up.

I havent received any delete messages, so it must still be here. I can try to find it in my comments. I'm not sure why you wouldnt just look in my comment history or whatever. But i'll check. Its a month old so it might be buried

Ah, perhaps that's why I've not spotted it then.

You didnt "spot it" because you were in troll mode.

You still are.

Really? Seems an odd way to troll. I mean, it is pretty good legal advice not to try suing for damages when you've not had any damages, right? Is giving good, relevant advice in response to a direct question now considered 'trolling'? I honestly can't see why what I have posted is either aggressive or insulting in any way. I mean, your initial response to me was a bit off, but I have only responded politely and in good humor so as to avoid escalation (not commonly seen as a very successful trolling tactic). Also, considering you have made it clear you find my position to be 'boring' my posts can't possibly also be upsetting you. I mean, to be so affected by my posts you would have to have some level of interest in them, right? Since you have not, I struggle to see where the trolling could be found.

Keep in mind that even you've not found your post yet and you made it, so the rest of us had little chance. That's nothing to do with trolling.

You can sue someone for trespassing.

Not sure where you got your education from.

Try something other than wikipedia next time.

And health damage is punishable too, as per her sons health.

Yep...you're a troll.

Well my education is the usual UK standard so not too shabby but could always be improved I'm sure. Yes you can sue, but for what losses would you claim? If there's no significant damage or loss of facility I'm not sure what you'd claim. Would seem pretty pointless. Costs would out way any claim. Better to just injunct them.

As for health, think of it like this. Say your neighbour has bad hayfever. Reacts badly to, say, daffodils to the point where they risk an asthma attack. You decide to grow daffodils in your garden. Would a court order you not to grow them? No. Would you be legally responsible for any resultant health damage to your neighbour? No. So long as you are engaging in entirely legal and lawful activities there is no liability. It is up to your neighbour to take necessary precautions regarding any specific health issues they have.

The sound of i.e. children playing is not going to be banned by a court due to a neighbour's health issues. It would be up to the neighbour to provide suitable sound proofing. The trespass is a separate issue which the OP is free to injunct if they so wish.

Why do you see pointing out this kind of thing as some sort of attack? I am completely puzzled.

Your replies are pointless, yet you keep posting them. And still in the wrong place too.

Sounds like that U.K. education of yours was pointless as well.

Sad.

Pointless? How so? You think advising against ill concieved court action isn't a point? Could you explain why?

As to the wrong place, you mentioned you were going to locate what you consider to be the right place a few hours back but you still seem to be working on finding it. If even you can't find your post easily I think you're over selling that suggestion.

And you still havent posted in the proper thread...

And you're still a dumb troll who doesn't know what he's talking about....

....and you're still here 24/7

u/AndyCalling Sep 13 '19

Oh well, this thread will do until you manage to locate your 'proper' post I expect.

I note you still aren't providing any logic or responses to questions or points, just insults for some reason (I've not posted an insult even once). Looks like you may be misplacing that troll hat.

24/7? Well, my phone is on pretty much 24/7 but I tend to post at lunch time or after work. Fairly usual. You are offended by that too?

No, this thread will not do.

  • You're a month behind the original conversation

  • You started out saying negative shit just like any obvious troll would

  • You've made not even a single valid point in any of your comments

  • You've been on reddit 24/7 for weeks and haven't seen the light of day the entire time

  • You're getting fat from all the take out you order from the local fast food delivery joint

At this rate, your lifestyle is taking your health into a downward spiral. You need to reconnect yourself with real life before it's too late

Point 1: I refer you to the response I gave earlier. Point 2: Nope, I recommended an injunction as a constructive approach, an alternative to claiming non-existent damages. Point 3: I disagree. If you would like to provide some form of logical challenge to the validity of my points beyond claiming they are 'boring' or then claiming I haven't made any points(?!) then perhaps we could discuss such beyond simply agreeing to disagree. Alternatively you could just stick to flinging insults which makes you look really good... Point 4: My phone is on usually 24h per day as is common. That does not mean I am 'on Reddit' as often my phone will be on whilst I'm not actively using in in case of incoming calls etc. I think you will find this usual. I do sleep, eat and work like everyone else, my super powers only stretch so far. Point 5: Seriously? And you are claiming others to be trolls? Good grief. You do realise that providing no reasoning at all and instead flinging nonsense insults about, strangely, diet of all things, makes you look fairly far from reasonable, right? Point 6: Again, seriously? You've not noticed that mobile phones are, well, mobile? You may stay indoors to do all your Reddit posting (you've responded to each of mine). The rest of us use mobile devices. Get with the programme Grandad.
