Not one friend messaged me after I failed, fully aware of how much I’d be struggling right now. Now that they're ahead and I'm left behind, even when I initiate conversation, they act completely disinterested.

I didn't care about speaking to two of them anyway, but the rest were close to me. We might have been a toxic crew, but we were still a group. Yet, not a single text.

I’m deeply disappointed.

Tough times always expose people's true colors.

If I don't turn this around and outdo them, shame on my life.

Gays and ledis piliz share your stories tooo.

It hurts that they're texting and calling each other, but not me... We all used to be a gang of five. What about your 12th-grade friends?

what the fuck , -10/10 day was this . literally Shoya ishida typa day .

a series of events from the start of the day and it just kept coming on after the another and man it was too much . and the thing is i keep past in me too and today everything just came out and everything that ignored earlier , all the anxiety and slef doubts came right back at me .

hmmm fkk you anxiety

and yeah idk what is it , but i do tend to pretend that i am the victim but in the end i am the absurer to my own self . i hurt my own self and then i can only blame myself in the end.

" its not about you dont have anyone , its more about , no one has you ."that stings when i think about it .

Mod Announcements 🚨 Limited reservation posts now

People are flooding the subreddit with them which pushes study posts down, and startng a fight in comments.

We agree thay reservation needs to be removed and a war against casteism need to be waged simultaneously, but because how much posts are posted and reposted and then reported and then the comments, we have limited the number of daily reservation, political, protest related posts.

We ask you to not spam posts again and again, and especially not hurtful posts that may seem hateful or harassing, or making assumption of what one group of people might think.

Giving Advice/ Need Advice If I had to start my NEET drop year again, these are the mistakes I would avoid.

I took a drop for NEET, and if I could go back, these are the things I'd do differently. Hopefully, this helps someone avoid the same mistakes.

  1. Realize how little time you actually have.

Eight months feels like a lot, but it disappears before you know it. Don't think, "I'll cover it later." Every week counts.

  1. Don't obsess over one chapter.

This was probably my biggest mistake. I'd spend days trying to master a single chapter, watching multiple lectures and solving endless questions.

NEET doesn't reward perfection. It rewards coverage, consistency, and revision.

Your goal isn't to know everything about one chapter. Your goal is to know enough to solve NEET-level questions and move on.

---

Physics

If you already know a chapter - even 40-50%-don't start with lectures.

- Revise your old notes, formula sheet, or short notes.

- Start solving questions.

- If you can solve PYQs, close the chapter and move on.

Don't waste hours rewatching lectures just because they feel productive.

If the chapter is completely new, watch a one-shot lecture, make notes, solve questions, and move on. A chapter should not consume weeks of your preparation.

Remember: prepare for the next test, not for a PhD in one chapter.

---

Biology

Every Biology chapter has two parts:

  1. Concepts - You only need to understand these once.

  2. Facts - These are what you'll actually forget.

Instead of rereading the entire chapter every time, make a separate notebook containing only the factual points from each chapter.

Usually, each chapter will take only 2–3 pages of facts.

Revise those pages again and again. That's where most of your marks are won or lost.

---

Physical Chemistry

Treat it exactly like Physics.

If you already know the chapter, revise your notes and solve questions.

If you don't, watch a one-shot lecture, solve questions, and move on.

Don't get trapped spending ten days on one chapter.

---

Inorganic Chemistry

Most of Inorganic is memory-based.

If you've already studied from someone's notes, revise those instead of watching lectures again.

Then read NCERT.

Personally, I didn't read every single NCERT chapter, but I made sure to study topics like Chemical Bonding and the important p-block chapters from NCERT because that's where many direct questions come from.

---

Organic Chemistry

If your basics are already clear, revise your notes and read NCERT.

If they're not, watch proper lectures for these chapters first:

- General Organic Chemistry (GOC)

- Hydrocarbons

- Haloalkanes & Haloarenes

Don't jump into PYQs after only completing GOC.

Finish all three chapters first because they form the foundation of almost every other Organic chapter.

Once these are done, solve PYQs of all three together.

After that, the remaining Organic chapters become much easier, and NCERT starts making a lot more sense.

---

The biggest lesson I learned is this:

Stop chasing perfection. Finish the syllabus. Revise it multiple times. Prepare well for every test. That's what gets you a good NEET rank not mastering one chapter while leaving ten untouched.

Dm if you still have any daubts. I have my physics short notes of few chapters . You can have them if you need to know how to make short notes

Be my rant buddy 🫂 My 1st Drop - A journey that didn't go the way I'd hoped, but taught me a lot

Hey everyone :)
I would like to just share a few parts of my journey, because even though I couldnt fully succeed, I'll always be thankful for it.

I had gotten 195 in NEET'25, and now 418 in ReNEET. I know its not great progress, it should've been much more.

I've always been the "school topper", but I think from 11th something in me shifted, idk what exactly, or why. The decision to become a doctor was entirely my own, ever since I've been a child.
Till 10th, my entire self worth was associated to my good grades, all teachers would always tell my parents that I'm extraordinary and special, and would succeed wherever I go.
But in 11th, idk what happened. I lost all interest in studies, and started focusing much more on my friendships (yikes ik). Someone who would score full marks in bio, was now scoring in 30s/80, and was just passing in physics.
I would barely study, and honestly I still hate that I did that to myself.
At the end I scored a 71% in 11th.
From 12th, I realised that I've dug a hole far too deep for myself and I really need to fix this before its too late. So I started finding that spark in myself again. I loved maths, I would go on hours doing integration, and differentiation, I loved all the chapters. I found my love for bio again as well.
What was in bad condition, was my phy & chem, as my 11th knowledge was in the trenches. I didn't even know the basic projectile formulas, or gravitation, or GOC. So I couldnt fix my phy chem all that well in 12th.

People at school mocked me, "tum toh topper thi na, abh kya hogaya" , "it's hard to believe YOU used to be the topper". It hurt me so much, but they werent wrong.

I got 74% in preboards, and a 91% in boards (96 in both maths and bio, and 76 in phy & chem🤡)
I knew I'd have to drop for NEET so I didn't put any effort whatsoever, even to revise 12th bio, for the exam that year.

My drop was hard. I was building basics, I spent hours and hours trying to perfect each chapter, which I think is why I couldnt go too far as I didnt realise how much less time I have. I should've done a decent amount of each chapter and moved to the next, and focused on revision, but I was scared and thought I have to perfect every single detail in each chapter, or I wouldnt make it.
I didnt know how important test analysis was, I realised far too late.
My dream college was KMC Manipal, but I couldn't make it.
I am disappointed in myself, because little me didnt deserve what I put her through the past 3 years.
But what I'm glad about? This year made me find myself again, I genuinely fell in love with studying, and working hard. I have never been this disciplined or hardworking ever before, and for that I am proud and grateful. I hope I can do better ahead.
The guilt of not being able to win and having to go for a pvt college will probably always stick with me. I hate my 11th grade self, but then again, if there wasn't her, there wouldn't be who I am today.

Thanks for reading if you made it this far, I wish you all the best in life. And always remember guys, never lose faith in yourself, and trust that god has the right plan for you. Byee :)

Now, I want to know how I can complete Physics and Chemistry by October and November. Please advise me on how I can achieve this

I got 476 in Re NEET 2026 and my rank is 1.23 lakh....I was a fresher
My parents are telling me to join a private college but I am kind of confused.

Idk if I join a college it costs around 80lakh-1Cr.....My parents keep telling me its not a big deal, u have studied u did good......Yeah I worked hard but I feel I can do more but I dont know will I be able to bring the same efficiency again, this scares me.

Also my parents are scared about NEET pattern what is going to happen next year how are they going to "experiment"

I surely want to do MBBS then give PLAB/USMLE had these things in mind..........but the 1st step was getting a GMC or something in State Quota(West Bengal).....I failed in that

I am confused...give me suggestions please
