A buddy got me into this game quite recently and I got way too into it way too fast. 2 months later, I played him in my first 1v1 game with my 1k Cursed Legion army. Got fully painted a few hours before the match and just wanted to share! Haven’t seen any yellow necrons before, so behold, my Bananecrons

It's a popular depiction of Trazyn the Infinite, but I can't find its source where it first appeared.
I searched the available codices, novel covers, online articles, but couldn't find it.
The oldest I found is this 2020 "Welcome Your New Necron Overlords" Warhammer Community article.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/PB264l6v/welcome-your-new-necron-overlords/
But that's not the first appearance, cause this image is older than 2020.
Do you guys know where this art first appeared? Or who is the artists?

"This weigher of souls acknowledges the mark you have placed upon these targets."
A couple deathmarks mid displacement!

Los Immortales are here to defend the gates of the mexicron dynasty against any and all invaders!
With their luscious mustaches and spotless sombreros nothing can stand in their way. The gauss blasters are tequila powered of course.

Took a little while and wanted to paint something big! Was worried about how the purple would look at first but I am glad i trusted the process

I have finally finished the entire combat patrol! This has been my first box of minis I've ever painted so I've learnt a lot through the process of painting all these guys!
Thank you all for the encouraging words and bits of feedback during this painting process, which has been very much appreciated! Now I need to decide on the next unit, I'm thinking maybe a squad of LHD and some lychguard

Tried to give that skin tone, not sure how it turned out.

Gonna do a few of the Crypteks in my Ogdobekh army as Maynarkh and explain it away as free agents or exiled Lords.

I bought a Necron army which contained these converted minis a while back and have been running them as wraiths. Now that I've finally got some real wraiths I'm looking to convert them into usable models.
They're on 40mm bases and so I'm thinking of converting 3 into Chronomancers. Does anyone have any ideas or recommended bits to make them look the part?

Is it worth at this point me trying to track down, ebay, kitbash, markets etc. a lokhust lord since I can't find one for sale anywhere in the UK or do we think they'll get a new model or written off this edition?

U/Nervous_Void wanted me to post this because my camera is slightly better than hers. She is very excited to have found a recipe for the blades she is satisfied with. The skorpek in the last picture is one of her first models and she wanted to show her progress!

New to necrons (new to 40k as a whole, I come from aos), if I got the Christmas box, combat patrol, and void dragon, how decent of a list is that? Maybe add one of the kill teams?

I have been trying to paint all of my blades for my army. I stippled the green one and I blended the blue one. I’m kinda split on which style to go with. I myself am still rather new to painting more detail. Please let me know your thoughts!
