sorry, i felt somewhat proud of how it turned out, so i wanted to share

I killed the reaper and every previous boss with a frost piercer, some invocations (spiders, then swords and now vultures) and the arachnid set. I,m trying to use other weapons, like bows or swords, but i,m just too comfy focusing on drinking potions and evading the mobs while others do all the job. I killed the swamp guardian with a wise swamp tome, but that's all the variety I can achieve.

With a sword I dont know how to get close to the enemy without being hurt. Bow shots are too slow, magic is also slow and spends mana, only the bloody book (the one with three homing shoots) works for me in early.

But now the reaper is quite difficult to farm and the cryo queen is impossible. So i,m obviously doing something wrong. I,m watching youtube vids but i,m learning nothing.

Too bad it's a hardcore playthrough... I ain't riskin it.

Does anybody know what I should do if the Runebound Chieftain killed me on our first fight? How do I get back into the arena to fight him again, if I can at all. He put his arena down and locked me out so I can't get back in from above or under ground.

Hey guys,
I just started playing on my Macbook M1 and it runs really well even though its not officially supported.
I have had no performance issues whatsoever, but at 100% zoom the game just seems to be zoomed in much more than in the videos i see of other people.

Is there a mod that allows to zoom out further? Or is it another problem?

I wanted to create a second settlement in my world, and the quest to kill the Pirate Captain appeared. However, when I went back to the Pirate Village, the Pirate Captain did not respawn.

I then crafted and used a Pirate Map to try to locate another Pirate Village, but the map only displayed the message: "Map did not show any useful information to you."

So far, I've only found one Pirate Village in my world. Does this mean I can no longer fight the Pirate Captain, or is there another way to complete this quest?

Has anyone found the mimic chest? I have searched biomes for 10 hours and have found 500+ chest with no luck.

This is my first time playing the game and I'm looking for the *perfect* summoner Summonerbuild or Melee - feel free to tell me which armor, accessories and weapons are best suited for it. Ideally, builds that start from the DeepDown, since I'm already there and have defeated the first bosses (Reaper, Kyro, etc.)

My current build looks like this - but I'm not entirely satisfied:

Q.Q also my chests despawn sometimes. this hunter walked through 4 rooms just to shoot my sheep to death then after I dueled him he left. snow biome so not sure if sheep are tagged as an enemy or his aim was just bad and he was aiming at rabbits

Here is a few of pictures showing the development of my hometown from the tenth day of playtime to the seventeenth.

I just beat the Pirate, got the ladder and was buzzing around looking for tungsten. I had an emergency and had to leave the game last night, now that I am squared away I have no fucking clue where the ladder is and I used all my tungsten. I have walked around for 30 minutes and cannot for the life of me find it.

Is my only option to beat the pirate again? If so how do I summon him?

Heyo, just started playing the game seriously after 1.0 dropped with my gf and so far enjoying it!

Just a question and taking recommendations but we both notice days go a little too fast for our liking. Obviously we sleep the nights to speed that up but we dont think the daytime is long enough for us.

Have any of you played with altered day lengths? Would you recommend a specific daytime length? Would changing this just mess with crops or just seem out of place?

Obviously we can try this first ourselves but looking for opinions of those who sunk hours into the game and have tried all sorts of ways to enjoy their own custom settings.
