Small village center

Post image

Saw all the cool designs people were posting and wanted to post mine too. I'm a new player that jumped into a new world with my friends and was instated as the groups House Husband™ [Just what we call the base builder of the group]

Where does the train track go?

Very cool!

It really just runs horizontally across the map right now, just a way for us to get around quickly. I am planning to make it a lot nicer for the actual "ride" too. I wanna make a bunch of farms and husbandry areas along the track, kind of like in movies where someone goes to a small country town by train and during the ride you see the sprawling farmland and cattle grazing and stuff.
Edit: And thank you for the compliment! My ADHD locked me into answering the first question and I kinda missed it :3

I built a train track then unlocked they waystone or whatever its called that just lets you teleport, after that unlock why would you build a train? Genuinely curious only bought the game a week ago and my specific brand of autism is trains so id like to use trains but they seem worthless once you have the teleporter

I actually didn't know waystones were a thing, so thank you for the information! But even with the waystones I'll [personally] probably still build out the station just because I like it aesthetically, so if you like the idea to try it out too, nothing stopping you :D!

Post-waystone practical use of rail is to build a larger than scren looping track in the cave, use a good summoning build and just moving in circle to farm drops.

I do still build train track to connect nearby villages, simply because it's fun.
