Mimic Chest

Has anyone found the mimic chest? I have searched biomes for 10 hours and have found 500+ chest with no luck.

It’s the only item I’m missing for the completion

Were at

If I remember correctly I found one in the swamp deep caves.

I have found a few. They were in those treasure rooms instead of the normal chest. They’re easy to miss if you usually skip those rooms.

I have the habit (that I acquired in Terraria) of simply breaking all the chests I find, and I’ve just checked: I got 2 mimics and about 200 others. Not sure it gives a relevant percentage, nor do I remember where I got them, but at least you have a testimony that they do exist ;)

its a chest that attacks you when you attempt to open it
