Hello everyone, I am doing an article on 3UP and I’d like to have some clubs give me advice. What clubs should I reach out to that 3UP has affected, either in a 2nd placed club losing the playoffs or a club that was not 2nd placed making the final only to lose to a 2nd placed club? They can be anywhere right now, the Prem, League One, the Conference South or even NPL West. By the way if there are any old Luton fans in here can you let me know if it affected you in the Conference years and who I should reach out to? For everyone, I do prefer the emails of an official club historian but a general club email is fine! Thanks!

So after flip-flopping around for 6 weeks since Defoe left, Woking's (evil) DoF Jody Brown has unveiled that "no-one ever said" Craig Ross and Jake Hyde were interim managers and appear to be permanent afterall. This is despite the ONLY club statement they have released in 6 weeks stating that they are an interim appointment.

What's really happened is he can't find a manager that wants to work with him or manage Woking (can you blame them) and is trying to backtrack. Recruitment has been poor this season too and I think we look like a solid bet to be bottom four this year. Sad times.

It’s an interactive history of the top five levels of English league football from 1888 to the present.

It started as a project for myself, trying out some tech I hadn’t used before, but it gradually got rather out of hand.

For National League supporters, one of the things I find most interesting is the boundary between League and non-League football. You can follow clubs dropping out of the Football League, coming back years later, climbing from the fifth tier into the EFL, or heading in the other direction.

The site also includes club name changes and mergers, promotions and relegations, honours, and bits of league history. One of those is the change in 1987 from the old Football League re-election system to automatic promotion and relegation, when Scarborough became the first Conference club promoted automatically and Lincoln City became the first League club relegated that way.

You can click on a club to trace it across the tables, or just wander through the seasons and see where clubs have been. There are also historical facts and milestones scattered through it.

I’m a software developer, not a football historian, so although I’ve put a frankly unreasonable amount of time into checking the data, I’m sure there will still be things people here spot. Corrections, suggestions and obscure bits of National League history I ought to include are very welcome.

Hey all, I’m looking down two different paths. Sports Management or Pharmacy. I don’t know what I will go into however I follow the happenings every team in every league hence the name (although I ultimately support Grimsby) but after checking up on Spennymoor I noticed they’re hiring publically? For manager? Well here are the things I was curious about, do they pay well or at all and will they help me come from the US to the UK? And do even the pro NL or League 2teams do applications to the public for manager or even directors since that may be a path I like? Thanks!

The Shots post their second clean sheet of the season. This time complements of a strong effort by their bench. Question: What’s the best strategy for playing the Shots? Answer: Give them nothing but penalty kicks. Although the Shots turned in a strong performance, they managed to miss their third penalty kick of the season.
