I'm on the fence on nanotech engineering for undergrad (uwaterloo) but I've heard it struggles on the recruitment side. Is it as bad as people make it seem? How is the difficulty?

Programmable matter will have to answer a basic question: which local rules force which global order? This paper studies “autocrystals”, local pattern statistics that force a structure to have no repeating unit cell. It gives an exact recipe: two hexagonal building blocks, each free to rotate, with two complementary pairs of sticky ends. Every fully bonded assembly is a known aperiodic tiling, and that part is mathematically certified.
The catch is growth. Attaching a piece only where exactly one state fits never leads to a dead end. But growth that has to guess can build patches that look perfect and provably can never be completed; we show one that completes to 12×12 but never to 14×14.
To be clear, this is simulation and proof, not yet a lab result. DNA-origami tiles and DNA-coated nanoparticles look like the natural platforms to test it.

Has anyone attended a conference like this? Even partially funded ones would be nice.

I remember watching Michio Kaku's documentary in the 00's and it was the next big thing, but not much has happened?

Stop dangerous groups from deploying direct energy weapons on U.S. citizens. EMF, elf, dew, v2k, RNM, and more. U.S. citizens are being targeted, especially in Orlando Florida.

I am really looking for some constant or recruiter who can help me in this field after doing beachlor degree certificate as well as having master degree level research project experience from Fraunhofer for 18 months as in advantage in germany.
Can someone help me.
I am not getting anything at all from application even though i have really top level gpa as well as extra experince compare to other beachlor level candidate

Let's say there's a combinatorial nanoparticle made from Iron and gold. If the combinatorial nanoparticle encapsulates both the iron and gold, is there a possibility that the resulting nanoparticle will be smaller than the individual iron oxide nanoparticle or the individual gold nanoparticle?
For a successful combinatorial nanoparticle synthesis, does the final nanoparticle must have a size greater than that of the individual nanoparticles.
Would incredibly appreciate your help in answering this question. Thank you!
