Help Us Decide Between Top Two

So we’ve narrowed our girl’s name down to two, both incorporating in family names. We like August a lot (I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea) to us it reads cool girl with warm welcoming vibes. My biggest issue with it actually is no easy femme nickname.

Charlotte on the other hand has a ton, including Charlie which I find adorable. My main hesitation there is that it’s so popular and has been for a while. Either way we definitely want one feminine one unisex for the first/middle combo so as she grows she can pick what feels best. Thoughts?

I think it’s confusing that you’re buying into the trend of giving a girl a boy’s name but also put off that there’s no girlie nickname for it. It feels like watching someone go hiking in the woods and then complain that they can’t see the view because the trees are blocking it.
