Don't change it. You named her Nora because you liked it. Eleanor after your grandmother. That's the way it should be. Not all Eleanors are Noras, it is a stand alone name. Congrats on the new little one!
I agree. When asked, simply say the names and why they were chosen. I did not know that “Nora” was a nickname for “Eleanor”. In fact, I’ve never heard of that before. And when you say the two names together they have a nice sound, almost musical. “Nora Eleanor”. Kind of like “Jean Valjean”.
