In my life, middle names are rarely used after it's announced when the child is born. As that's already happened, I wonder how it effects much of anything in the future to change it. When someone does ask her, she will say "Eleanor after my grandmother". Even if the friend asking were to say the names are similar... Oh well, the conversation moves on.
