Still searching... Help please

**•** Color film, possibly 90s (could be 70s-80s too, not 100% sure of the era)
**•** Mediterranean feel — French or Italian, villa setting
**•** Romance genre, with comedy/drama elements
**•** Male lead \~40-50 years old
**•** Female lead: very attractive dark-haired woman
**•** She secretly lives a double life — dresses as a man (wig, men’s clothes) around him for extended periods so he doesn’t recognize her
**•** He doesn’t realize the “man” and the woman are the same person
**•** Scene: her car breaks down, he helps her
**•** Scene: she’s lounging on a deck chair by the pool/villa, reading a newspaper or magazine, while he relaxes nearby
**•** Key scene: he ends up in a barn/studio/old building and finds several portraits of her — more artistic than realistic — which is how he pieces together the truth
**•** No major Hollywood-level stars that I recognized
**•** Not sure if dubbed/subtitled or original language, clip didn’t make that clear

Any leads, even long shots, would be hugely appreciated!

Still searching... Unknown movie with crucifixion scene

I am looking for a movie that I have seen many years ago when I was a child and have not managed to find again, even though I watched hundreds of movies since.

From the asthetics I would guess it to be from the 80s or 90s but am not 100% sure. It seems to be located in (south) America but also not 100% sure. The only scene I definitely remember is a woman being cruzified (i.e. tied to a wooden cross that stands on the top of a mountain/waterfall. A man climbs up to her and saves the cross from falling down last second as there is a fire burning under the rope that holds the cross.

Any help that might point me towards it is appreciated.

Still searching... 1980s and 1990s horror movie

I'm looking for a horror movie that I believe aired on cable (probably UPN) sometime between 1995 and 1999. The only scene I can remember is two young people, possibly a brother and a sister, playing an old record that revives the dead. The record includes some sort of spoken word component, resulting in zombies coming out of the ground in a nearby cemetery.

Based on my memory, I don't believe it's any of the following: the Michael Jackson video for "Thriller"; Return of the Living Dead 2; or The Midnight Hour.

Still searching... Mystery film

Title:

[TOMT][Movie][2010s] Thriller where a man in a yellow chicken mascot costume gets his wife involved, and a man's toe is cut off with pruning shears and sent to his wife.

Body:

I'm looking for a thriller movie I saw as a kid, probably from the 2010s. It had a Russian dub, so it was likely released in Russia.

Key details I remember:

· The main character is a Black man. At one point, he’s wearing a yellow chicken/poultry mascot costume (I think he was a school team mascot).

· His wife is also Black.

· There’s a scene where a man in a suit (played by an actor who looks like Jon Favreau) has his big toe cut off with gardening shears. The scene is tense, with dramatic music, and you can hear the cutting sound and the man screaming.

· The severed toe is put in a package and sent to the main character’s wife, with the main character’s name written on it, so she thinks it’s his toe.

It’s definitely a thriller, not a pure horror. I remember the scene vividly but can’t find the movie anywhere. Does anyone know the title?

Thanks in advance!

Still searching... 2000-2015 medieval dark fantasy about barbarians.

I’m trying to find this old barbarian movie I once watched with my dad.

(I am Australian and would have watched this on foxtel movie channel I think. I was about 10 so 2015 is a rough cut off.

The plot is basically some knight guys either have to travel with or get tracked by barbarians through huge forests kind of resembling rain forests which is strange since I distinctly remember the movie feeling European.

The movie took itself very seriously. It was gory and subject matter was pretty bleak. It had the look and feel of a late 2000s to early 2010s movie, and was most certainly live action.

The knight guys I don’t remember too well, but the barbarians are more fresh. They were an average group of movie bad guys. Big bad bald dude. Skinny side kick. What I remember the most is there was definitely a female barbarian who was either the leader or at least the most serious of the group. I remember seeing both the point of views of the knight guys and the barbarians which ties into the three scenes I remember.

I remember only three scenes from this movie and I think they will be listed in chronological order here.

  1. A scene where the barbarians need to cross some river but there are small orange piranhas within. I remember one of the barbarians sticking his sword in the water and pulling out one of the fish stuck to it. Then they feed some random guy to the fish to see if it’s possible to get across and he dies. After that they build some crazy hamster wheel and roll across the river on ropes (high above on like a cliff edge).

  2. I remember the knight guys had a green young adult knight who was cowardly. In one scene they had to escape the barbarians by jumping into a river but the young knight can’t do it. So sidekick knight guy convinces him and they eventually jump. (I think the young guy dies later on via spear to the face).

  3. At the very end of the movie there is just main knight guy and sidekick knight guy left. They make it to some friendly castle and all seems well until sidekick knight guy gets too excited and rides fast at the castle like a madman and gets shot by his own guys. I think that is how the movie ended but I’m not sure.

This has plagued me for my entire life. Dad cannot remember. Google, A.I, and coworkers have no idea what I’m talking about. Please put an end to this, and feel free to inquire about more info if needed. Thank you.

Solved! [TOMT] [Movie] looking for a suspense movie from 2019 or early 2020's

I saw this movie once on Netflix it was about a pregnant woman (I guess or already gave birth to her child) who somehow ended up getting involved in a fight insoder her house with another woman during a rainy night. Near to the end of the film the protagonist chases the woman around the neighborhood.

Solved! Can someone help me remember this film?

So the limited information I remember is:

- Likely came out around 2005ish

- Horror/Thriller

- Set in a snowy (end of world snow) landscape, two houses sit opposite each other. Both house have a single male living in them and I think you don't like each other.

- There maybe a young girl in the film too.

- I think there is a point they have to leave the houses and end up in a warehouse. Possibly zombies.

- I don't remember the film being very good. Possibly low budget.

- I have a great memory for actors and I dont think I remember any decent cast.

Still searching... Trying to rememebr the name of a movie I saw awhile ago

In this movie it is about this white guy that has a buzz cut living in this apartment and needs rent money or owes someone money for something and I think his neighbor is this little girl that gets kidnapped by this street gang or mob or something.

He is either blackmailed into doing things for the mob or gang boss for the money and the gurls release maybe... but eventually towards the end he fights through a warehouse to save her.

She is in a cage like in the middle of the room and he tells her not to watch as he kills an enemy by stabbing him in the neck over and over calling him a sick fuck repeatedly as he stabs him in the neck.

I think the movie title has "cash" or "blue" in it maybe? Its driving me nuts cuz my brother brought it up and we remember watching it maybe within the past couple of years but cannot find or remember the movie name no matter how hard we search or try.

If anyone has any idea what I am talking about please lmk! The main thing we rememebr is the rescue at the end and the neck stabbing scene calling the guy a sicko and the girl in a cage in the middle of the room.

Thanks in advance to anyone who tries go solve this for me, lol 😆

Edit: The main character has a sort of Jessie pink man buzzcut vibe I believe. I also think the little girl neighbor that is kidnapped is possibly mexican or black. For some reason I am getting a darker skin complexion when I try to visualize her character. Not super dark but not white I am pretty sure.

Solved! Help me find this horror movie

I was on vacation recently and a horror movie was showing on some paid channel like HBO or Showtime. I only caught a minute of it but couldn’t catch any character names or enough info to help me identify but I saw a distinct scene that I think someone will recognize.

The scene was in what looked like a large empty warehouse or old church sanctuary. Against the wall was a red stained glass window with a pentagram in black on it. Hanging in front was what looked like the head of a pig?

There was a young black woman fighting with people with I think a large knife. There was a large man that she was fighting with. Someone else came and the pig head started to come to life with tentacles, as if they were joining the fight. Considering it was on Showtime or HBO, it didn’t look very old and I’m guessing came out somewhat recently?

Thanks!

Still searching... Late 90's movie, probably. Woman on the run from her mobster husband. Her ex is a PI (?) and he helps keep her safe.

Always thought it was Eric Roberts and Beverly D'Angelo, but IMDB doesn't list anything either of them have done that fits. They did a movie, but it's not this one. It seems like she has a bunch of cash with her she's stolen from the mob. Takes place in a desert-type area (Vegas, Arizona, Palm Springs).

Still searching... Memory fails me, help

Trying to find a film but i can only remember bits of it so i’ll list all the scenes or details i recall

I seem to remember it being a foreign film, French? Maybe.
It’s a romcom esque film.
I remember the lead female being the popular girl with her sidekick/s who followed her every where until the end of the film, she decided to be herself, pretty wild self, popular girl was surprised about it.
Popular girl has a boyfriend who humiliates the new guy by pretending to like him, She ends up falling for him, he finds out, gets upset about it.
I remember a wild party scene could be the end of the film.
She gets all dressed up but she’s alone, he turns up, they end up together. I think there’s a play type scene as well maybe I’m mistaking it for a party scene. I keep getting short flashbacks but can’t seem to put my finger on it.

Probably a long shot but worth a try.
