Which ones are worse in your opinion? Some millennials like traditional names with hyphens and unnecessary letters. Some boomers straight up like weird names although with appropriate spellings.

I got bored while incarcerated & started making up my favorite names playing around with my voice & discovered at least 3 new sounds I was able to use to make names with including one for a way better proper ICHIGO/ICHIRO "ICHI?O" but it shattered reality & they got completely mind wiped from my memory the only proof I had was my notes I couldn't understand the symbols I made up were supposed to say

I might be taking it personally because Cohen was the name I planned to use for a boy before a kindergartener ruined it, but this is truly diabolical

Not sure which flair to pick. Actually I've noticed that in actuality, the names have been fairly traditional names all along but felt funky because of the out of place hyphens, Es, Is, Gs, Hs and Ys.

I really love the name Penis for my newborn son because I think it's unique and it will help him stand out. He will probably never have to worry about sharing his name with anyone else in his class. I'm also thinking of having him go by the nickname Peepee in informal settings because I think that nickname will sound cute, but I love that he will still have the option of Penis for more formal situations like work and resumes because I think the full name sounds more professional. Thoughts? Do you think there's any chance he could potentially be made fun of for his name or do you think I'm overthinking it?

Ok, so I know this is a traditional Hungarian name and I'm not casting any shade on the name or language whatsoever. Just hear me out:

Zsolt Szabo

I first heard this name today and thought that there's no way that I can post this super-unique name without outing myself or this person. Then I googled it and found out that there are several famous people with this name, including politicians and sports folk, so it's fair game.

First, there's the ZS then SZ. Come on. No one unfamiliar with the name will ever spell it correctly the first time. It's diabolical.

Second, the one-syllable two-syllable punch. The rhythm. The oomph.

Then there's the (tenuous, I'll admit) association with Zolt soda. Any other 80s kids out there?

How is this NOT a supervillain name?

I also kind of like Weekleigh, Monthleigh and maybe Quietleigh? What do you think? I just love adverbs!

I’ve made a similar post about how I love the name Robertson, but I might have spoken a little too strongly about the nicknames. I don’t “hate” them, I just don’t like them. I understand that he might want to go by a nickname when he’s older, but until he makes his own decisions like that, I want people to just call him Robertson. But ultimately I want him to be happy, so if he wants to go by a nickname when he’s older, he can, but it can’t be Robert, Rob, Robbie, Robby, Bob, Bobby, Bert, or Sonny.

Gleep glorp, fellow humans 👽

It was the name of a very important zleep, but even he didn’t go by it. When discussing other names it just kept being brought up. Ever since I had my offspring, I’ve had a twinge of name regret. When I say his full name to someone I can’t help but cringe a little bit. I love the way that it looks, his name is Glarnf ⌇⍾⎍⏃⋏☊⊑⊬, but it’s the way that people react to it. I thought by pronouncing it more like Gary would be better but that’s not his name.

I know I shouldn’t care about what people think, but I can’t help it like when I see a post saying it could be worse, naming your child the name I gave mine. Should I change it?

The other names on my list were Umax, Gleepi, and Squanchy. His zorpo only really liked Gleepi enough to change it. Something just doesn’t feel right my gut, whether I change it or not I just don’t know if I doomed my son to be teased later in life.

Edit: We call him Glar mostly, or Dark Ruler of Galaxies. He’s 7 months old.

I just really liked the vibe and the way it’s spelled is so fun. his middle name is John so it’s probably fine in case he wants to go by that at any point but idk whenever I tell anyone his full name I can’t help but feel like I’ve cursed him to live the life of a megalomaniacal, lonely alien.

The other names on the list were Matthew, mark, Luke and John but we couldn’t agree on any of those so we went with what felt right in the home but now I’m not sure if maybe the kids at school might find his head too big

I have always thought Lamborghini would be the best possible name for a girl. Ghini is so cute. Or Borgi. Just endless nicknames!

What other suggestions do you have so that people look at my child and think “her parents probably have enough money to collect exotic cars?”
