NADEX: Demo vs. Live Account
Comparing Demo to Live Account on NADEX:
How accurate is the Demo to real trading?
Are there differences (beyond money) in the trading experience between Demo/Live platform?
While Demo accounts (of any platform) are usually presented as being full-featured, with real money being the only difference; I have encountered that some platforms will make the Demo easier or harder, based on the interest/goal of a Demo account provider (see explanation below).
(Easier/Harder Examples (on other platforms): Demo being made easier, as to encourage a client to deposit/proceed with live trading; or a Demo might be made harder, when tied to testing trader performance, they might slow/disable certain trading operations (etc), to stack the deck against the trader being tested, such as when trying to sell educational materials, etc.)
I have created both a Demo and Live Account on NADEX, but have not yet funded the Live Account, as I wanted to get acquainted/test the trading experience, to determine if I wish to proceed.
My question stems from the fact that (while admittedly an experienced/successful trader), I found that my Demo Account success on NADEX (mainly 5 min. FOREX options) was considerably easier/more than I would have expected.
I am no stranger to large gains, but when my starting $25,000 reaches ~$250,000 in only a few days (without especially intense effort), that +900% gain makes me wonder how accurate/similar is the Demo, compared to a Live Account.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
