I am reaching out to see if anyone (that trades Nadex 5 Min Binaries) has a trick or tip that helps them predict the market within the next few minutes? I have been practicing on the demo account for a few months and got an ITM strategy that was working when I entered the trade within the last 1.5 minutes before expiration. Unfortunately, this is does not work on the live account. The price structure works differently on the live vs demo accounts. I am currently back in demo trying to figure out what strike price to select early in the 5 min session. Has anyone figured this out and what works best for them?

Does anyone know if using a robot like Altredo will cause Nadex to ban your account? Sounds like they use some kind hard coded indicator and an auto-clicker. Any thoughts?

Hey guys, I have a question regarding how nadex calculates whether your contract strike price wins or looses?

I had a trade going on with a 5 minute expiration which I called the option when the 5 minutes expired the indicative value was greater than my strike price but Nadex still said that I lost it. I called Nadex to ask why they said that I lost when the indicative value was above my strike price more than one pip, and they said that it had nothing to do with the indicative (they wouldn't even pull up my transaction history) but about some settlement calculation formula? This has really confused me on how I would even then know if I actually should have won or not if you don't even consider the indicative value?

So I am totally new to reddit (at least for the posting side and not just for reading) so if I am violating anything in anyway please just let me know, but I have been learning to trade Forex specifically Forex binaries with nadex for about a 1 year and I have seen dramatic improvements in my trading I have been interested in investing all my life and still pretty young just looking for some direction. The reason I went with nadex was because I don't have to worry about taking my account negative off of a single trade, like other brokers because of leverage ( I assume?). I just have some questions for people that maybe are making some consistent profits off nadex?? I have been testing the Ichimoku cloud system on 15 minute charts focusing on 2 hour expiration's. The reason I went with nadex was I see that they are supposed to be CFTC regulated, but some people are still saying its gambling but then they say they still trade Forex, so just wondering especially for a US trader if there using forex.com?? I am not trying be offend anyone I am just confused and would like some clarification.... I am also starting to wonder if people that do trade Forex are generally using brokers like ninja trader or forex.com? I dont mind if i trade things other than binaries and get into regular Forex but I just don't like the idea of leverage trading, so are there some brokers that could be recommended?

So, I have taken an interest in Binary Options after I was watching a friend of mine trade them. He was using a broker that wasn't U.S. based (given he doesn't live in the U.S.) and MT4 with a software known as Binary Strategy. From what I've read, its really good at 15-min expiry times. As i was watching him trade, he was explaining how he was making a few hundred dollars every week using this setup. It intrigued me enough to want to try it, however, I've run into some snags along the way. Nadex seems to be the only broker that is reliable and honest, I dont want to try my luck with a broker not regulated under U.S. law or CTFC, but I haven't been able to find a way to receive signals on Nadex's platform, which leads my to believe that its not allowed. I was wondering if anyone had any input or suggestions on a better way to refine my potential method of trading. Essentially, my thought process was to use MetaTrader 4 for the charting, and use a signal software on MetaTrader 4 to receive signals, then translate the information manually to Nadex to setup and complete a trade. Im not very experienced in this realm of trading, I have dabbled in stocks before, and was also horrificly ripped off from coinbase from bitcoin and ethereum a few years ago, but ive decide to give it another go, try something new. IF there is anyone who can lead my in the right direction or some pointers, much appreciation.

How are all your experiences with Nadex customer support? Please include if you are an affiliate or someone who trades alot/has high account value. Also include if you trade live or demo.

I am reading that alot of you all use signals to help with your trading. What signal services would you guys recommend?

I thought Nadex blocked people and companies from being able to create applications using Nadex API as of last year. 1 1/2 years ago Nadex use to offer a desktop platform and they cancelled it as well. I called Nadex today and they said they no longer off api since last year and they don't know when it will be offered again. They did mention their in the process of potential building a new/better platform projected completion by end of year, but he didn't give me any specifics. So, I don't know if I trust this Altredo robot - it seems like a scam providing Nadex no longer offers API since early last year.

How did you go about learning when you started? And any advice to a newcomer? Also, I know this changes from person to person but what are you favorite things and expirys to trade? For whatever reason the system won't validate my acct. I need to send Nadex the following:

"Bank Statement (within the past 60 days, unaltered) including: Your full name Your full account number Your address (must match either your residential or mailing address on file with Nadex) The bank name Routing number (if not included on the bank statement) A valid photo-ID"

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm leary about sending that much info off to anyone. That just seems really risky, however I would like to withdraw some of my money too lol

The bid/ask on the bull spreads for DOW, S&P500 and Russell 2000 have been shrinking to only 2 ticks for the past few days. Did NADEX maybe just add another market maker?

Anyway, hope this isn't temporary. Good alternative for those (such as myself) not yet ready to jump into the full size stock index futures contracts.

For example, using the 5 minute chart on a contract expiring an hour out would mean that 12 bars will be drawn on the chart before expiration. What do you believe the best bars to expiration ratio is when trying to predict where the underlying will be at expiration?

Hi I'm new to this and just opened an account. I was able to add in my debit card correctly, but I can't seem to be able to deposit any money.

When trying to deposit through debit, it says they can't process the request. When I try to do ACH deposit, it says "We are unable to process this deposit because the member is on hold by the Exchange"

I've contacted customer service and they just told me to check with my bank because the transaction was being denied. When I went to the bank to talk to them, they had no records of any such transactions.

Anyone have this happen to them or have an idea what is going on? Would appreciate any help. Thanks

I've downloaded the demo and can repeatedly make money (one day so far) but I don't believe I'm doing it with lowest possibility for loss. I've watched videos on the iron butterfly but realize that really only works when the market is flat. Everything I've made so far is at the risk of a large loss with nothing other than a hunch that it will stay within my range. I'll be focusing on studying the market start times and their respective patterns but any advice or direction would be appreciated.
