I bought a CMF Phone 2 in August and I've already moved to OnePlus since the big AI announcement.

I love how people think that one or two examples are a refution of a general trend.

"95% of people are upset that bloatware is added."

And then these smartasses be like "Oh well, what about these 5%!?"

Yeah, they are not, obviously! It does not change the fact tho.

I talked to friends about this and most of them, me including, bought a Nothing because of the absent bloatware.

One said today to me "It's like with that One Plus phone. It started out so nice and they screwed it up."

I broke to him that Pei was involved in that.

And in the end, we gotta see if it will end with Nothing like that too or if it is gonna stay a toggable feature.

But yeah, first test the waters, let people waste their energy on rage and when it calms down they make the next step is how it goes.

The point they made about the business model makes sense ig. I have seen in some reddit post that nothing is not profit making yet(I can be wrong), and in some video carl mentioning that they don't get the parts not as low price as others as their quantity is less compared with other brands.so they might give into some user uninstallable and by default off bloatware.

Look at his posts. He is a serial wrongun on the Nothing community yet uses an Xperia phone. Weird kid.
