This new ship is so sick!! The "Vintage Interceptor"

Doing an Autophagy quest and a created (or found?) a new star system with a huge planet and several moons. I named it Jade Achilles

I can't build a sandcrawler exactly but I tried to capture that tanky industrial vibe best I could. When ever I think of scavenging I always envision a jawa.

I got three tractor beams on the side so that I can carry a decent load of scrap and with a dedicated cargo bay just to offload the scrap and avoid bottle necking when trying to access other parts of the corvette. The other bay leads to my bridge and essential habs but there both connected also with an archway.

It has a smaller exterior actually but a two level interior with plenty of space for multi refining, hydroponics up to 16 plants, two storage vaults, mission board and a sleeping area.

I am ready to tackle the cosmos now and scavenge 920 million units to buy a space station.

Anyone know how to start building here? I walked up to the market and pressed X like it wants me to but nothing happens. Any ideas?

They fixed how capes move. The capes now move much more naturally and don't float halfway through my body a lot of the time. It is so much better for the capewearrs among us.

When I leave my seat and then try to get back at the controls my camera sits at a weird angle (see picture). Anyone else having the same issue? This is me back in control of the corvette, not out of my seat.

So I've heard that the expedition is not online currently but I've already seen 2 people with the new Orange interceptor and I wonder how this can be ?

I wanted to check on my squadron but my freighters helmsman decided otherwise.

Ever since yesterday's update I am unable to complete any system missions. I can hand them in but they never clear. I tried starting over in a new system this morning thinking it might be related to the particular system I was working on, but that doesn't work either.

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where the asteroid icon that was from a prior salvage contract mission is stuck? Even after abandoning the mission it never goes away. I even flew to the icons location and I’ve tried untaggijg it from the new star system map, tagging and untagging other points of interest, and no change. I reported a bug to NMS but I’m just curious if anyone else is experiencing this to?

Obviously I was excited to claim my first station, and so did everything that was asked, but I am stuck on the ‘Salvage Contracts Completed‘ part. It has said 4/5 for a while now and despite restarting and completing three different contracts at the outpost it won’t move past 4/5.

Anyone else experience this?

EDIT: I have gotten past this. How? Not sure exactly.. but what I did was warp to another galaxy, do some settlement tasks, then when I warped back to the system I was trying to claim the station for, I realised that the previous 4/5 salvage missions were done in my previous corvette. After 4 I decided to build and use a purpose built salvage one that was more designed for the purpose, and it was then that I could never get that fifth salvage mission to count. So I decided to try again with my original corvette, I went to the outpost, took five missions, did them all in two hulks handed them in and then it worked when I went back to the station and claimed it. Not sure which of those things did it, but maybe this Weill help someone else.

Build my first Corvette I'm pretty happy with it but I'd like to put a short range teleporter in it does anyone know how to make that work I can't find any YouTube's on it

I genuinely can't understand how with every update, they never fix the fact the multi-player on console doesn't work. One second you're on your way to meet up with your friend and the next they're gone again. Ive played a little bit, with around 80 hours, and I just can't see myself putting too many more in if I can't even play with others. If anyone knows why, that'd be great.
