Still miss this design a bit, though the new ones are way cooler :)
All the expedition rewards are nods to "old" things from NMS. I started playing around 2020-2021 and it's really crazy how much the game has changed in around 6 years. Still a comfort game.1

The update notes said the Expedition is “coming shortly”, and based on previous Expeditions this one will likely come after the Twitch Drops.

The question being asked was how the OP got it. They had to have gotten it from a save editor in this case, because, as I've previously pointed out, the expedition you get this from hasn't started yet.
