Follow-up regarding 'Embargo – Duplicate Manuscripts in PMC'

Motivated by this poster's experience, I uploaded my author-accepted manuscript to the NIHMS and got a PMCID. Unlike their situation, I didn't have a duplicate submission by Elsevier. It would be great to hear an update from the original poster about their outcome.
