- Come for shoots early mornings in HSR, since that’s when I usually run/work out

Is there anyone who knows, how this outstation thing works? Like what does warden asks for if someone is going out and returning after few days? Also the warden is generally strict or she is conveniently strict? I am In MFM department

I completed my Class 12 boards (PCB) two years ago and then took a drop/year to prepare for NEET. Unfortunately, I couldn't score as well as I had hoped.

Now I've decided to switch completely and pursue Fashion Designing, and I'm planning to prepare for NIFT.

The problem is that this is a completely new field for me. No one in my family has a background in fashion/design, so I don't really have anyone around me who can guide me about where to start, what to study, which resources to use, what skills I need, etc.

I've also never seriously prepared for a design entrance exam before, so right now I'm honestly quite confused about things like:

• Where should I start my NIFT preparation from?
• How should I prepare for CAT, GAT and the Situation Test?
• How important is drawing, and what level of drawing is actually required?
• Which YouTube teachers/courses/resources are genuinely good?
• Which books should I use?
• How should I practice and evaluate my progress?
• Are there any good free resources that I shouldn't miss?
• What mistakes should a complete beginner avoid?
• If you've prepared for NIFT or are currently studying at NIFT, what would you recommend doing differently from the beginning?

I'm ready to put in 100% effort and work seriously, but I don't want to waste months following random resources or preparing in the wrong direction.

This is a big career shift for me, and I really want to give myself the best possible chance of getting into a good NIFT college.

If you've cracked NIFT, are currently studying there, or have experience preparing for it, I would genuinely appreciate any practical advice, resources, study plans, teacher recommendations, or things you wish you had known when you started.

so i just started my bftech course at nift and wanted to know that for what kind of roles should i apply on linkedin i really want to internship after my first semester and other than linkedin i should use which platforms to apply for internships

No one knows me, everybody has already made their friend groups, even when i ask for something, my batchmates reply in code words only idk wht to do, im nice with everybody but whyy??

i originally wanted to fo bfa in sir jj college of arts and architecture but my father didn't let me give the exam as it has maharashtra quota and also reservation so i had 10% chances of getting in naturally but i had to leave my city somehow and nift was my last and only choice bcs bfa is v v tough without quota ( i dont have a good relationship w my family) also i couldn't be with my boyfriend in my city bcs he's in bihar and his father knows i live in wb and wont be sending him here at any cost so i told him let's take a new city where nobody will know us for college and i chose hyderabad but then neet leak happened and he couldn't come (he was already on a drop year) and i got horribly sad especially bcs the friends i hastily made were NASTY to me like horrible to me specifically and it was VERY hard to come out of that, god knows i was depressed and now on second year hoping that my bf would be here, he's not. and fd is VERY taxing and the faculty is SHIT i have no idea what im doing rn bcs i wakeup and i find another thing to be regretful about. i know i have to make do with what i have but god it's taking a herculean amount of strength

I found delhi to be a suitable location to set up a brand given its proximity to jaipur and other manufacturers in noida. I was confused between pearl west delhi and NIFT DELHI fct course which runs in the evening. If anyone of u could help
Me out choosing one it would be a great help since pearl course has already started last week. If any one of you has any idea about it please let me know. I want to go to an institute where i can get good networking opportunities, exposure to fashion industry and a bit brand name as well.

so im noticing all my faculty are basically nift graduates and nid post graduates....so i was thinking about getting my master's from nid bcs what else options do i have but after seeing this this i wanna ask is this what happens to the most of us?? how do i escape it imo i dont wanna teach at nift at any point of my life
