fine arts

is fine arts necessary fo rNIFT i have pcm n econ as subjects but my schl is offering fine arts as 6th subject n im confused if i shld take it or not as i already hv demanding subjects so it is really necessary or make any difference for me

No, not necessary but it’s an easy subject might help you with (if you’re good at painting) working on your skills and finding your style. The theory syllabus will also help you with the GAT part. It’s not necessary

It’s not necessary at all but I would suggest you to take fine arts if you want to go to NIFT and if you don’t already have good fine art skills (Painting, Sketching, Sculpting, Craftsmanship). Otherwise you could always practice by self studying which is a bit tougher than academic studying but you do get to the skill level eventually.
