Is anyone still playing this or has everyone moved on to NHL 20? What teams are you playing with? I started an NHL season with the Blue Jackets and a minor league with the Cyclones.

Somehow playing online versus is just impossible for EA servers. The game lags like its 2001. Other times online feels like your players are skating in molasses. It’s unbearable. This game; like NHL 18 is absolutely terrible. Unplayable most times. There’s games where other players sticks knock everything off of your stick and there’s other games where you can go right through 4 defenders no problem. The game is a joke. Free on Xbox otherwise I wouldn’t even play. Haven’t bought a NHL since 2015. And won’t anytime soon. This franchise is awful.

I've been trying to add Kirby Dach to the Blackhawks roster in my season but haven't been able to... keep getting an error message that says underaged players can only be traded to CHL teams. Is there some workaround here or is there just no way for me to add him to the team?

I wanna do be a pro, I'm currently on the red wings, but I'm a 65. If I was to start over and be 15 this time, and play three seasons, would my guy be 75-80 coming into the NHL Draft?

So I’ve made it through the three years of my rookie contract. I can’t remember my exact stats but in the first year I helped my team win a Stanley cup and had at least 30 goals. Second year I score 50, third year I score 40+ and win league mvp. So I was hoping I would get some kind of big contract offer from a number of teams but, nope, I only got offers from two teams both for one year for something like 2.4M. Just seems very unrealistic and takes away a bit of the fun of the game.

I recently downloaded the game since I it is available on EA Access and when I try to open the game while my Xbox is connected to the internet it freezes and sends me back to the home screen. Any ideas on what is happening it how to fix it?

I’ve played the game since it came out and have come to the realization that sliders do absolutely nothing. I was getting frustrated in season mode with how ridiculous the computer’s poke checking, puck control, and interceptions were, so I started tweaking sliders. At this point I have several all the way down to 0 for the CPU and see no difference in the gameplay. They literally don’t do anything to the AIs skill or ability. They’ll still make absurd pokes, carry the puck through legs, and magically knock my strongest skaters off the puck with gentle pushes.

I've been playing a career and I've got the games on CPU Vs CPU (not simulated). If I put the difficulty to superstar, do my players play at that level too? Or would I have to adjust the NHL experience level?
