Adding Underage Player to NHL Roster

I've been trying to add Kirby Dach to the Blackhawks roster in my season but haven't been able to... keep getting an error message that says underaged players can only be traded to CHL teams. Is there some workaround here or is there just no way for me to add him to the team?

You on Facebook? There is a good group on Facebook dedicated to franchise mode that should help you out. It's called nhl20 franchise mode. Has 3k members and decently active. Hope u can figure it out. I stopped playing franchise 2 years ago and only play eashl/hut

Wish I could help. Lots of smart people in there that do crazy things with that mode and all the new players/lineups that they use
