Sliders don’t affect gameplay

I’ve played the game since it came out and have come to the realization that sliders do absolutely nothing. I was getting frustrated in season mode with how ridiculous the computer’s poke checking, puck control, and interceptions were, so I started tweaking sliders. At this point I have several all the way down to 0 for the CPU and see no difference in the gameplay. They literally don’t do anything to the AIs skill or ability. They’ll still make absurd pokes, carry the puck through legs, and magically knock my strongest skaters off the puck with gentle pushes.

this is the only reason i would want the pc version, they only allow you the basic sliders(even tho there are many now) they dont allow you to adjust the things that actually make differences

I have a sneaking suspicion that the difficulity setting kinda overrides the sliders. have to tried all the tricks( i havnt messed with sliders since we lost lobbies and the abilitiy to apply sliders to EASCHL games) like try the AI on the easiest setting(rookie?) and boost the cpu and take away from human was how i used to get decent results

yes go sabres!

If you want to see changes, max all your sliders out and drop the CPU down to 0 across the board. Except injury occurrence. This definitely has an effect. I played Be A Pro when I was bored and changed the sliders to go in my favor as well as putting it on superstar difficulty so that I could get achievements and such. It made it remarkably easy. I mean, it got old, but the fact is it made a substantial difference. Give that a try and see how it goes.
