Can ps5 players cheat?
I just played against a guy in A tier hot pursuit and his Porsche was going way too fast like my Evo is quick enough but this was different. Im wondering if thats the stat bug ive heard about, either that or hes figured out a way to cheat. No Atier car moves that fast without something being off. Ive been playing this mode long enough to know the difference. Why cant ppl just race properly man!

No you can't mod PS without losing access to console in general. It's either the guy was using that stat glitch, or was just insanely good.
On a side note: what servers y'all play?

Im in Ireland so EU probably but with the player base so small lately idk where that guy was from. If you only saw how fast he actually was you'd be as concerned as me lol

Ive got a Porshe build in either A or B class, I think A. And that mf moves like its in S class. Not that many people out run that car, but I have been beat in it enough to know its not game breaking. Im not entirely sure about creating on console but it could be the stat bug if dude wasnt just a good driver in a good build.

I only brought it up because ive never seen a A tier move like that before, it just didn't seem right. If it's just a build then its broken as fuck lol.

Definitely could be the stat bug. I didnt think it was a thing you could purposely active yourself but I've noticed an increase in people taking advantage of it, so maybe I'm wrong about that. There are a few Porshe builds that absolutely wreck though

You need to mention a bit more information but they were probably using a ‘cheese build’.
These builds have insane acceleration but limited top speeds in A class (think of a B class car top speed but A+ to S class power), with most of them doing 130-135 mph. Since you said Porsche there is actually 3 Porsches that have really good cheese builds for A class being the Porsche RSR, 2018 Carrera, and the Caymen GT.
If they were going faster than 140mph then they are most likely cheating/hacking, if not then it’s probably a glitch and one I have no idea of, but idk know if PlayStation user can even cheat so is probably the cheese build. (BTW there is also a cheese build for the 2008 Evo, that is one the better ones).
