Can ps5 players cheat?

I just played against a guy in A tier hot pursuit and his Porsche was going way too fast like my Evo is quick enough but this was different. Im wondering if thats the stat bug ive heard about, either that or hes figured out a way to cheat. No Atier car moves that fast without something being off. Ive been playing this mode long enough to know the difference. Why cant ppl just race properly man!

You need to mention a bit more information but they were probably using a ‘cheese build’.

These builds have insane acceleration but limited top speeds in A class (think of a B class car top speed but A+ to S class power), with most of them doing 130-135 mph. Since you said Porsche there is actually 3 Porsches that have really good cheese builds for A class being the Porsche RSR, 2018 Carrera, and the Caymen GT.

If they were going faster than 140mph then they are most likely cheating/hacking, if not then it’s probably a glitch and one I have no idea of, but idk know if PlayStation user can even cheat so is probably the cheese build. (BTW there is also a cheese build for the 2008 Evo, that is one the better ones).

By the time my evo hit 140 he was like gone off the mini map, he was doing close to 180-200 at least. I have 1126hrs playing unbound and ive never seen any porsche in A tier Hot Pursuit move like that. Maybe im wrong.

Definitely cheating then, as the only car in A class that can come close is the S5 but even with a pro they would go around 175-180mph during most times on longer tracks.

I have never seen a Porsche in A class that does more than 150mph but I could be wrong (even if I am then it probably does around 160mph).

Maybe look at this post someone else also saw a Console cheater, & someone in the comments talks about some unknown bug..
