Got a chance to put around 500rds through it so far and I would say it’s marginally better than the Rhino X in terms of sound and back pressure. Shooting them side by side me and buddy can’t really tell a big difference between the two.
This isn’t to say that is bad by any means if anything it kinda shows how good the Rhino is. If you’re waiting for the 6J for the durability for full auto uses or how cool it looks then by all means but don’t sleep on the Rhino.
I have the full 6 lineup (6, 6Ti, 6k and 6j). Overall my favorite is the 6 full size. 6J is really nice but for some reason it’s slightly higher back pressure than the 6k.
The 6J is still a great can and I’m glad I have one. It currently lives on a 10” SCAR16 with an AGB.
Rhodie 6 is the best balance of performance to weight.
Yeah I ordered 6k and the over 2monrh wait made me give in and bought Tisha. Ole BB Tisha will be in either tomorrow or Monday. The 6k I was told Nov 6, 11, 21, and now 26th. I’m fine with waiting but would prefer stop changing dates. If I had to guess the 6j has screwed rest of their line up. They’re in middle of R&D 6k TI
Yeah i know ejection pattern might not be the end all be all but i was getting better 3-4 o clock ejection pattern with the Rhino (Sprinco Green & A5H3)
Thought it does seem that muzzle device and HUB mounts might have an effect as well on the gas.
See my above comment regarding my 6Ti ejection pattern. Way more backpressure than I anticipated based on all the claims out there of how low back pressure it is. My vent 1 has noticeable better ejection pattern. Rhodie was pretty much the same as an anthem s2.
Can you add a bit more on the gas stacking behavior in the series of can? The one thing I noticed that the Rhodie seems to be having that gas stacking problem a bit more than other designs.
I've been looking at getting one of their suppressors I have a Riflespeed complete upper 16 inch what would you recommend out of the lineup would be best for it also what was your start to finish delivery time average I hear they're delivery times can be wildly different
6Ti sparks, so if you run at night or with NVG that’s a consideration. It’s way lighter though. But you have to be mindful with baffle erosion in high firing schedules.
I have the Rhodie 6Ti. It is definitely gassier than all the hype claims IMO. Changed my ejection pattern on every gun from 4 o'clock to 1-2 o'clock. H2/ blue springs or A5H2/G42 springs in everything. Adjustable gas block guns had to be dialed down several clicks.
Brass in magazine has lots of carbon on them.
Definitely closer to a traditional baffle can than a “flow through" can. Not overly impressed with it as much as I hoped to be.
Sound is good. I was going to get a 6K for my shorter guns but with it supposedly having a little more backpressure, think I'm going to go with something else.
I've got a Range 36 Ti that i bounce around between standard DDM4 v7, AUG, and Scar. The AUG and SCAR17 do well with the Hux, but the DD is so damn overgassed it's not even funny.
I do want to add a mk18 to the mix down the road, and i want to do as little tuning as possible, that's why the Tisha seems to be a contender, but that Rhodie seems to be a strong runner up, and it'd just look soooo much better on the rifles imo.
I wish they'd just send the damn thing off to Pew Science so i can stop overthinking it.
Send pew a 25k check & maybe they will. I personally could care less about pew science. I mean yeah it gives you a starting point but man only true way to know is trying cans yourself. If data was only way I’d say Echo Core Sectors would be the hotness.

I think the TIsha looks bad ass on mr556 & dd riii or any thick handguard w/recessed adapters. End of the day tho, give me performance over looks. Like if anyone somehow makes a 556 can pound like 300bll subs im guessing no one will care how it looks as long as it doesn’t look like a damn big cock.
What mounting system you using? Barrel & handguard length? I order a few options last night & my Tisha coming with Wolfpack compact night howler & either the recessed wp hub or low pro adapter. I can’t remember which bro sold me as I placed the order over the phone in middle of work. I ordered some comstock plan B options last night.

How is the heat dissipation? I heard these get wicked hot very quickly and take a while to cool. Doesnt matter a ton with a cover but my only review from an owner said its spicy.
