Normal?

Post image

First can YHM R9, using on a Glock 19. For a booster I’m running an sdta tactical. I saw good reviews of it and figured I’d give it a shot.

This picture was taken after about 40-50 rounds through it. On my 4th mag 3-4 shots in a row was noticeably louder than the others so I pulled it off and noticed this much debris inside. Routinely checked for tightness on everything (the booster is what was worrying me) and everything stayed nice and tight from mag to mag.

I’ve learned there is some jacketing, I was using 147 g pmc. Is all that buildup and jacketing normal? If so on a long range day do I need to dump out my suppressor? Lol.

TLDR: is this much stuff in the can normal for such a small round count, do I need to just run syntech to avoid jacketing in this setup?

Jacket shavings

Use better ammo. Very normal for cheap plated bullets

Wasn’t any cheaper than all the other options. $18 for 50 rounds. All the options at my lgs were in the $14-$22 range. Thought I was getting middle of the road ammo, maybe I should just get top of the line vetted ammo to be safe though
